I definitely don't expect this thread to garner the same attention due to the fact that 135 was Roberto's best weight and he was an absolute menace and terror at that weight, plus the fact Manny didn't stay long at all in the lightweight division and while he was there the competition he faced wasn't stiff to say the least, though he did look spectacular in dismantling Diaz. With all this being said, just as I thought Chavez would have destroyed Pacquiao in the latter rounds of their fantasy match up, I cant help but envision Duran starching Pacquiao early. Let me know what you guys think.
IT is so obvious that Duran is too strong for Pacquiao...
Why you dont post PAcquiao vs MAcho Camacho Sr.

Also, yes, he lost one of his seventy/eighty lightweight (well, seventy/eighty including his 118-135 fights before winning the lightweight title) fights in a ten round, non title fight quite early in his career to Esteban De Jesus winning both rematches by KO.Last edited by BennyST; 09-16-2009, 09:27 AM.

He was wild at LW. By the time he faced Leonard he was a very skilled fighter, not just looking for a big punch, not missing wildly. He was very experienced, but still fast and strong.
No other LW could have beat Leonard that night.
Also, he was as motivated as he had ever been. At LW he seemed to be going through the motions sometimes.
Anyway, Duran is eats up a very game Pac. Then ****s him out in the mid rounds.
