I have seen certain pundits also refer to 147 as Super Welter Weight, and 154 as Junior Middle Weight - Light Middle Weight.

I am going to continue referring as such. It is commonsense to me, most people I know refer to 154 as Light Middle Weight.

They were on some England squads together as Amateurs. They sparred on several occasions and they were competitive spars, nobody bossed them. Heavily instructed, technical spars are the bread and butter of the amateur scene. Not gym wars that you'd see in the 60 or 70s. Any trash talk resulting from this period is worthless. At the time, Khan was the equivalent of a Super Featherweight, and Brook a Light Welterweight.

Khan schooled Brook in the Amateur spars, even with a blindfold and one hand tied behind his back.

During the very same session he out boxed Andre Ward, made Pacman quit on his stool and knocked out GGG to finish the day.

Kell is roided to all hell out. In the Ams he wasn't. He's too big and strong for Amir now.
