Two, Brook vs Spence was a dead even fight until the eye gave in. But let me guess, Spence hadn’t improved his game yet hence the close fight.

If Brook had fought Crawford at that time, you probably would have said that Crawford hadn’t improved his game yet and that Brook was just overrated?

Spence vs. Brook was in no way close. It may have been on the scorecards however anyone that knows anything about Spence is that he is a long distance punishing bruiser. If it weren’t for the eye Spence was going to stop him anyway. He was absolutely punishing Brook repeatedly. It was a violent affair and would have ended in KO or stopped anyway at some point.

Good to see ya again Oregonian.

The Brook Spence fight was very close until the eye went - and Brook fought well in defeat - if he can get anywhere near that level he will stop Khan

Think we'll look back at this as a bit of a mismatch. Only a matter of time til Brook times him with either hand in either stance. Brook by brutal knockout for me in first half.

This is Khan's fight to lose. All signs are pointing to an easy Amir Khan victory here because Kell Brook''s career is now damaged beyond repair. However, Amir must guard against overconfidence and a propensity to getting reckless or else he just may find himself getting clipped all over again while lying flat on his back on the canvas..

Fight could go either way, Especially since they're both past their prime. Khan isn't as fast as he used to be, and Brook isn't as strong as he used to be.

Brook is taller, but Khan has a longer reach. Khan is also faster, and faced more world champs, while Brook would be weight-drained. But Brook can always go for the KO, if Khan ever drops his guard at any moment. Overall, I'd give a slight edge to Khan, but it could go either way.

Although a good knockout Canelo was blatantly on PEDs at the time so said knockout is essentially void.

If it goes the distance, which is probably the most likely scenario, it's likely Khan may have visited the canvas at least twice as Brook has superb timing and power and as we all know timing beats speed in every situation.

What you then have is Kell Brook winning a decision unless Khan boxes his head off and wins every other round in which he doesn't get knocked down, which again, is unlikely as Brook will no doubt win his own share of rounds.

I agree with that, Spence was winning and was going to most likely KO Brook. However, Brook has always been a game fighter even in defeat and I wouldn’t just discredit any of his wins.

                    What’s good on your end?

I've always thought Brook would quite easily stop Khan in 3 or 4 rounds. Due to timing him ala Danny Garcia and decimating him thereafter.

But now Brook has had his face broken twice, is shopworn, been struggling on the scales for donkeys years, and has ultimately had two career limiting defeats, one in an ill advised fight with GGG and then a game loss against Spence. By the time Crawford got him it was like shelling peas for Crawford. He was done then. This is just a pension fight and I'm happy he's getting it.

                      But.

I didnt like how Brook came across in the gloves are off either. He found it hard to articulate himself. And man if you are making Khan sound like a livewire and loquacious raconteur. I don't think it is even worth considering the technicalities of the fight. The fight will probably mirror their chat. Khan shelling Brook who cant respond appropriately.

Khan by stoppage I think. Within 6.

Lets be honest 12 rounds is twice as long as these two need. Is it 12 rounds?

I'd still like Brook to win. I preferred him as a fighter
