Munguia: I Want Andrade, But He’s Moving To 168, Give Me Golovkin
    February 16, 2022

Jaime Munguia says he'd like to fight WBO middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade, but he's moving up to 168. WBO 160-lb champion Andrade (31-0, 19 KOs) and

That link is priceless Lol Munguia is a fun fighter to watch but C level at best. He eats entirely too many shots from pillow fisted fighters to step up in class. That's the sole reason he fought the Dennis Hogans of the world and the reason he couldn't be sanctioned to fight GGG earlier in his career.

Yeah Munguia is a novelty fighter at best and its comical that he wants Andrade now that he has decided to move up. This is Munguia way of saying he wants to fight for the title after Andrade drops it and it becomes vacant.

Mixed feelings on this. Thoroughly enjoyed the first fight, thought Castano edged it. Think a rematch probably favors Charlo but who knows.

Tszyu versus Castano is a nice matchup, not sure who wins. The IBF mandatory has been waiting a while, maybe he deserves his fight with Charlo even if he doesn't deserve his fight with Charlo.

Is Tzsyu affiliated with Top Rank at all? I know Matt Rose is the promoter but I thought I've seen his fights on the ESPN app. If he is involved with Bob, I wonder if Arum's influence with the WBO helped convince them to force the issue between Tim and El Boxi....

Reschedule the fight than. Charlo - Castano 1 was one of the best fights in boxing in last years.

If boxing was run properly the easy fix is Charlo vs Tszyu. He's already on the undercard and in training camp. You could even keep the original date Tszyu slides to main event. Make Castano the champion in recess so Charlo vs Tszyu is still for the WBO belt (and technically undisputed). WBO mandates the winner has to fight Castano next. UFC does this all the time. Instead we left with either long delays and one of these guys getting stripped since neither has made a mandatory defense of their titles and you have fighters waiting years since they were declared mandatory.

I hope this injury is legit because if not then Castano is a real bitch!

Um! I think that Castano should fight Tszyu. Since after all, He is Brian's mandatory challenger.
