Why is the lightweight division so polarizing?

He’s a prize fighter though mate. It’s the name of the game. It’s essentially what Canelo is doing jumping from DAZN to Showtime. Whoever will pay me the most that where I’ll fight.

It’s laughable man, all three are straight up delusional too. F*** all three of those guys tbh, at one point I was genuinely excited about these young dudes but I’m over it now. They’d rather argue about who has more followers on Instagram than fight.

Kambosos and Loma are the only two guys in the division who are more about business than barking.

Tank is kind of in that middle ground, he needs to fight better people this year but I think it’s the people around him who are the problem insisting on in-house fights and all that sh**.
We all can go home now! Lol

All of them are ducks! Loma's the only real man at Lightweight...amongst children. Kambosos handled his business and made things more interesting.

Sure but it's all just made me feel like his team don't really have confidence in them winning

The guy who didn’t fight Haney? The guy that lost to Teo, a 7-1 underdog?

I won’t go as far to say any of them have ducked each other but they’re just always f***ing talking and never f***ing fighting. I’m just bored to death with it.

Imagine Leonard and Hearns actually arguing about who had more followers in 81. And people actually compare these kids to the four kings. The four f***ing queens maybe!

Leonard did get accused of ducking Hearns though. He wanted the fight to make financial sense first.

Leonard 100% delayed it but for what 12 months? Hearns wasn’t champion until what 80 and they fought Sep 81.

Not one of these young guys have fought each other and it’s been well over two years since they bounced onto the world scene. It’s all talk no action.

Lopez will not be seen at 135 ever again.

Oh, sure. It's definitely no 4 kings here and whoever said that was foolish. I'm just saying it's never been as smooth as people portray it as being in retrospect.

A lot of the big fights haven't been being made unfortunately and that's kinda all the way around.
