Comments Thread For: Eddy Reynoso Open To Training Anthony Joshua: He Has Good Traits But Doesn't Take Advantage

Eddy Reynoso is open to attracting yet another glamour fighter to his San Diego-based stable. Canelo Alvarez's lifelong coach, confidant, and arguably the top trainer in the sport is not shooting down the idea of providing guidance to former two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

Hope he has a decent translator. Eddy is a great coach, But Canelo will always be the number 1 Priority. I aren’t a huge fan of Ryan, But he did the right thing branching out to his own gym. This way he can get coached one on one a lot more than he was at Reynoso Gym.

This is no knock on him, as I say I think he’s an outstanding trainer. Joshua would be better suited to a guy he understands clearly in Camp and on Fight Night.

Eddie has done a great job Pushing this fight back as far as he can. He’s trying to Give Josh the chance to adapt to a new coach, it seems AJ indecisiveness has cost him valuable bonding time.

Either that or he’s already working with a new team In silence.

Can’t help but feel we aren’t getting The Usyk rematch. After the 1st fight there was talk this rematch had to commence by a certain time. Now it’s as though Joshua is in no rush to get back in there with Usyk.

A.J needs Kronk in his life but Fury took it first. A.J natural abilities fit perfect to the Kronk style and that's going for the kill. Wildcard would also be another good gym with Freddie Roach I think.

I support AJ but he should be ashamed of himself the amount of randoms ( not that Reynosa is a random) offer support to help him . Even people from different sports know what he needs to be competitive. He needs to forget what people think about him and focus on Manhandling and roughing up Usyk by any means necessary. Usyk beat him up in front of his kid, family and friends. This is war , either he knocks out Usyk or he dies trying. Nothing less

Whoever AJ decides to roll with, he better get it done soon. Honestly if Usyk is next, he should probably just roll with McCracken but bring someone else in to tweak some things. He's not going to reinvent himself in one camp and there's some risk going to a completely different approach.

He could train with Cus D'amato, Eddie Futch, Jack Blackburn and still loses. Bodybuilder is sore loser.

In a year’s time we will be taking about a heavyweight division without Joshua or wilder. It’s the way of things
