Pedraza is a good come back opponent. I don't mind that fight at all.
It was a close fight with Taylor, so making a few adjustments will certainly put Lopez in back the mix, he just has to get a mandatory shot by getting back in the ring and earning it. Taylor isn't a ducker, he just has 4 belts to try and keep, which means sorting out mandatory requirements first and foremost.

If not, I didn’t see anything in Taylor/Ramirez 1 that leads me to believe he could ever beat Taylor (did you?) and I just can’t see him beating any of the 147lb champs so your comment about Ramirez being champion again isn’t very realistic.

I'm actually looking forward to Ramirez and Pedraza. It's a solid fight coming off a loss and should be fun to watch.

Ramirez had himself some good moments and rounds in that fight, do I see him beating Taylor in a rematch not likely but also not impossible. Who knows how long Taylor sticks around, may do his next fight and move up. What is left for him to do at 140? Him becoming a champ again is very likely more so if he stays at 140, Taylor isn't gonna face every mandatory and we all know the sanctioning bodies don't like an undisputed champ. They will throw mandatories at him right and left. Ramirez will once again be a champ probably not through beating Taylor but he is one of the top 3 with Taylor and Prograis.

I like Jose Ramirez. But, I like Pedraza more. I just really appreciate the wealth of skills he has. I don't favor Pedraza to win the fight, but I'll be rooting for him. And I won't be mad if Ramirez wins since he seems to be a good dude and has a good skill set of his own. I'm just happy to have a competitive, skillful match to look forward to.

He was killing himself to make weight in division's he didn't belong in just to have a height, and reach advantage against his opponent's.
He might be even more of a fighting force at 147, but at 140 he has better stamina, and punching power then he did at 130, or at the 135 pound class.
I'm anxiously waiting for a real good fight between these two top 10 fighters, with Pedraza gaining the upper hand in the later rounds.
Your right about Ramirez being a good humanitarian, I remember him speaking about a cause that he was supporting and the man really spoke well.
There aren't to many boxers with Ramirez's passion to help other's, he's truly a asset to the sport, and to mankind as a whole.

My concerns with Pedraza in this fight are his punch resistance and if he can effectively deal with a skillful pressure fighter like Ramirez. I know Tank is the only one to stop The Sniper (LOVE that nickname, btw) and that was way down at 130, but I still have a concern given Ramirez's power. And while Pedraza beat a pressure fighter in Lozada a few years ago, the quality vs Ramirez is very different.

But, I do favor Pedraza's movement, accuracy, punch selection, speed, adjustments, etc. Dude has a full toolbox. And he's looked REALLY GOOD in his last 3 fights. I'm definitely hopeful. Should be a fun fight.

Ramirez can't afford to lose to Jose Pedraza, especially at home! I expect him to bring it, all night! Jose Pedraza also knows that if he loses this fight, it's a wrap! Plus, he knows Arum wants to put him in with Teofimo Lopez at MSG, if he wins! Add to all that, it's Mexico vs. Puerto Rico! All the ingredients for a great fight!

I think he can be. If he gets past Pedraza, he most likely fights Zepeda for the vacant WBC belt. I thought Zepeda won that fight, but I think Ramirez could win the rematch legitimately.
