I know Tank is the only one to stop The Sniper (LOVE that nickname, btw) and that was way down at 130, but I still have a concern given Ramirez's power. And while Pedraza beat a pressure fighter in Lozada a few years ago, the quality vs Ramirez is very different.

But, I do favor Pedraza's movement, accuracy, punch selection, speed, adjustments, etc. Dude has a full toolbox. And he's looked REALLY GOOD in his last 3 fights. I'm definitely hopeful. Should be a fun fight.
Pedraza has only been knocked out once in his 11 year career, and that was at 130 pounds by one of the most prolific puncher's in the sport.
Pedraza is 10 pounds heavier now at 140, his punch resistance has been tested since that knockout, and his chin has held up.
He's been knocked down by Lomachenko in their fight, and Lomachenko has knocked many world champions, and made other's quit before getting KO'd, he couldn't do either to the sniper.
As I said in my earlier post Pedraza is in a more natural weight division for him at 140, and enters the ring at about 145-147 pounds.
He's handing out pain wholesale he stopped hot shot Julian Rodriguez who was 21-0 (14 KO's), and Antonio Lozada hasn't been the same since he was KO'd by Pedraza.
If he would've pressed the issue he would've caused the referee to stop his fights against Medina, and LesPierre in Pedraza's favor by TKO, which is what with Rodriguez.
Zepeda did defeat Pedraza in his first fight at 140, but I'd like to see them in a rematch, which just might happen if they get past their next opponent's.
Pedraza is a former world champion in 2 weight division's at 130, and 135, it looks like he might just become a world champion in a 3rd weight division at 140 pounds.
In less than a month we'll find out just how much of a sniper Pedraza is, and how much of a jaguar Ramirez is, it should turn out to be damn good fight irregardless of who is triumphant.

I agree with you, brother. I stand by my concern about the punch resistance, but I'm not overly concerned. If Pedraza doesn't get KO'd in this one then I won't have that concern going forward. Let's go Sniper!

As to former, upcoming, and potential future fights, let me see if i have this right: Jose beat Jose, then Jose beat Jose, and after this fight Jose will have beaten Jose (unless it's a draw), and then we're hoping for a rematch of Jose and Jose or of Jose and Jose. Is that it?
