According to the purists, losses don't mean anything.

I think it matters on HOW a fighter loses. DJ had this fight. He can honestly go back to camp thinking he did win.

So no. He is not done. He will just have to get back on the horse and learn from this.

Havent seen anything from him since his close fight with Golovkin. Hes done. Its too bad Charlo b!tched out and ducked him as that wouldve been a good fight a few years back. He might have a few decent fights left as hes a stepping stone at this point but as far as title runs, I highly doubt it.

Jacobs looked like he was going to get stopped v Ryder. He never really had Ryder in any trouble.

Does that mean that he's done? I don't know, but he will need to find a new 'fire' because he just didn't seem to have another gear. Just one steady pace.

When the **** was Danny Jacobs a top-level fighter?

His signature win was KOing Quillin, who turned out to be completely done after that.

Otherwise he's famous for giving GGG a tough fight in a loss, being KOd by Pirog, and having Chris Algeri awkwardly cook him dinner one time.

I don't think he has that fire in him anymore after getting paid a lot of $$$.

He looked like damaged goods. Looking winded and hurt at times, I don't see the snap in his punches and he is not offensively sharp any more. He said it himself that he was going through the motions in the Rosado fight and he did it again. That means his heart is not into to it and he will not push himself in a fight. He will fight again and will be a name in a resume.

That's exactly it. He was even shaken by Ryder, who's not a puncher.

Although he won the fight, Jacobs is done.
