He had money and success for a long time. I don't doubt his drive, and we've seen the heart before. We'll see whether it's there in the heat of battle but I never put the Usyk loss down to that - he was just beaten by the better man who never really allowed him to get going.
As for Fury/AJ, I've softened a bit on my stance over the years. When Fury was the jinking jabber I didn't see him having a chance against Joshua. I figured he'd take too big a shot at some point against a big boxer/puncher. Even Wilder (who can't box as such) got to that version of Fury.
Fury's evolution into big boxer/puncher/brawler tips the scales closer towards him. But that evolution is almost completely untested. He did it against Wilder, but Wilder was ready made for that strategy. And Fury didn't improve been fights 2 and 3. Fight 3 was a brilliant fight to watch, but Fight 2 was a brilliant Fury performance. Effectively he would be taking on Joshua at his own game.
