So Smith won the WBSS tournament and was considered the #1 guy at 168 but now is paper champ. Yet Bivol who has yet to defeat anyone if note other than old fighters and hasn't KOd anyone recently is some killer? Bivol won't even try to unify nor fight Zurdo but is some killer just for beating Joe Smith. Bivol is in the same boat as Smith, another paper champ at 175. Hearn just keeping all his fighters away from each other so they can fight Canelo before they lose

Alvarez is being matched up against handpicked opponents with no real power. Those are easy fights; no real challenges; they pose no threats. Everyone knew he would dismantle Saunders and Plant, and he did just that - they have no power, but the excuse was, he was unifying titles. It's time Canelo steps into the ring with boxers with power that have long been calling him out - and this include "the smaller middleweights". Real challenges for Canelo are fighters that can box with power.

It's time that he gives Benavidez, Charlo, or GGG a match. Those names have been mentioned as opponents for over two years now.

This is the unfair advantage of being the A-side to every situation, they can have agreed amongst themselves who they are going to go for next, but will drag there feet in signing and announcing the fight whilst sending out mixed signals to reduce the oppositions camp time. Dont expect a announcement this month.

I agree most boxers remain in training throughout the year, especially world level, but going into fight camp usually means in some cases moving away from home, bringing in the nutritionist, beginning weight management and specific sparring and taking there trainers and associates with them, this is all a costly process and i cant see many willing to chance it when a fight hasnt been made official.

and thats when canelo decided to fight him. he was doing his usual im too small routine by beating rocky fielding then running back to 160. same thing he did with ggg at 160 and beterviev at 175. what a complete fraud. cant believe people have been duped by him and hes a ped cheat which most of his fans pretended to care about...shameless
