FLOYD MAYWEATHER: "I'm The Greatest Fighter that Ever Lived"
Collapse

I wouldn't say he's the Greatest ,It's kinda hard 2 call anyone the Greatest no matter what record or fights . But I think Floyd is intitled to his oppinion, giving his current level and past accomplishments . Ask any unbeaten fighter either he or she would beleive that they r somewhat Great cuz zero losses signifies perfection.
Believe it or not their is a differance between Retiring Unbeaten and a Undefeated Boxer RetiringComment

Sugar Ray Robinson's has 19 lost, 6 draws, does that make his 173 wins less great?he is, though. it's a legit argument when you think about it.
39 have tried, 39 have failed. he's undefeated - his style and technique have caused boxers to study it and try to find ways to beat it. none have been sucessful up to this day.

Julio Cesar Chavez was 87-0 at one point. Does that mean he was the greatest fighter ever at that point? It just meant he fought fighters that did not have the ability to beat him. Floyd is doing the same right now. No one can argue against his track record at 130 and 135, but he has not tested himself much since the fights against Castillo.Comment

Obviously that wasn't true. Actually it was quite delusional. Is Mayweather 'The Greatest'?
23 November 2007
Floyd Mayweather has claimed to be the greatest boxer ever - better even than ring legends Sugar Ray Robinson and Muhammad Ali.
Mayweather said: "I can quit today and be known as the best fighter that ever lived.
"I respect what Robinson and Ali did for the sport. But I am the greatest, and this is my time."

yea but the 39 arent proof of his greatness. floyd continues to avoid the best in his weight class. and its clear the decision against castillo was a gift. he has no business being in the same conversation with ali or leonard they all fought the best.he is, though. it's a legit argument when you think about it.

seems i touched a nerve. lol. You're a pretty disgusting individual to write **** like this and I will be reporting your post in a minute. Hopefully you will be banned.
As for the other question, you're welcome to your opinion. I'm just telling you it's a pretty ****ed up one and if you knew a little more about boxing you wouldn't be saying what you're saying about Floyd being the greatest fighter of all time. That's a huge insult to the real legends of the sport.
check this out guys, the e-thug has spoken. LOL.
"You better not ever type **** like that to me again, you ****ing idiot."
watch out. ^_^
*slaps across the face* lol. come on now man. acting tough online, seriously? with a michael jackson avatar on? LOL. ^_^Comment

Floyd is one of the biggest duckers ever. He has been at 147 for 4 years and he still hasn't faced a top ranked welterweight yet.
Cotto, Margarito, Mosely, and Williams are a no, no for Floyd, but Hatton, De La Hoya, and Baldomir are ripe pickings
.
Floyd gets no credit for beating Marquez from me. Marquez has had to move up two weight divisions, and has had no time to adjust to a fighter who has been a welterweight for 4 years. Plus if Mayweather actually fought instead of running for the whole fight, Marquez would knock him out anyway.
Pacquaio, Marquez, Hopkins, Cotto, Mosely >>>>> Floyd
Floyd hasn't been involved in a real fight since 2002...handpicked opponents all the way.Comment
