DAZN has no interest in paying for Kambosos Haney?

Haney is not a DAZN fighter no more. His contract was not renewed.
I don't know how it is in Australia, but it seems Aussies have very little interest in boxing.
They're big into crickets, soccer and all these other sports Europe and the rest of world,
Middle East, South America, Africa, China, etc. have a huge focus on.

I think boxing has a place. That Tzou kid gets massive love and fills out his fights.

Good post, although the first paragraph, let me ask you….if it was your million invested, would you take a risk with Kambo vs Haney and potentially losing it all, or being left with only $78k when it’s all done? Or would you want your money funneled into a Garcia Kambo fight where you can maybe get the million back and $78K in profits?

Im absolutely not surprised they want the Kambo vs Garcia fight.

Garcia has a name, has a following, has skills, has power, lends himself to a potentially more exciting fight vs Kambo, is the better looking kid.

The other is not a good looking kid, could potentially stink out the joint playing tag and running around the ring, has no following, no charisma, no personality and does nothing outside the ring but troll other fighters. On top of that has no long term contract signed.

Obviously DAZN is pushing in the direction we see now.

I've accepted for a long time that boxing is also a BUSINESS so it no longer upsets me when I see business moves made within the sport. So yeah it is their money and budgets so they have every right to want something more in return on their investments. Again DAZN have the numbers so they know best who bring the numbers on their APP and to no surprise Ryan is clearly more popular.

No surprise here. We ALL know Haney was gonna demand an astronomical purse and nobody's foolish enough to break the bank on him. This is why I have a problem with guys "in their own lane"...it sounds like a good thing until it's not.

So, Haney makes crazy paydays on his own...against guys that nobody's really falling out about. I get it. The rubber meets the road when said fighter is introduced to REALITY and there's another fighter and promoter at the table with figures that makes sense.

If he's averaging $3M per fight (or something close to that) and there's only $3M on the table to split between two fighters...what do you think is gonna happen? The fighter that's used to making those big paydays will have to take his ball and go home.

The Mayweather plan blows up in a lot of fighters' faces nowadays. If you're not THE show like Floyd was, you're gonna have to fall in line with what's on the table or walk away. Devin needs to wish Kambosos the best and move on....it's better for boxing fans that way.

Arum's gonna make Loma/Kambosos and things are gonna run SMOOTHLY! None of this funny stuff going on. I promise you, people won't even be thinking about a Haney/Kambosos fight once Loma/Kambosos is made.

I think it’s closer to realizing Haney isn’t an attraction, has a boring tag/run around style and don’t want to pay for someone that isn’t even under contract.

DAZN needs to keep its interest in boxing. I like what they have going on, and need them to think things through. Quit losing money.

You're right about his IG ho, the people in the Shaderoom only know who Haney is because of his ex & current IG ho.

You're wrong about Haney boxing skills, he is a good boxer but has no power. I love watching him box but he needs to realize that he isn't a KO artist and just be himself.

Good on DAZN. They already lost money and might even might get shut down in Boxing. With the way economy is right now, they got to be smart with their investments. They can't be wasting money on some punkass Devin Haney unless he is willing to accept what he deserves.
