Nah, 25 year old, 14th ranked Berlanga vs 38 year old, unranked Angulo isn't worth our time. Neither is 39th ranked Bryan vs 19th ranked Dubois. What are we, beggars?
You would do whatever's needed to avoid jeopardizing your leadership, wouldn't you?
Nah, there's no rule as such - if we get 4 or more compelling high level fights of a weekend we'll do 'em, I think we had 7 one weekend last year, but it's a case of balancing what the players want. Some people want more fights, others think we already do too many, plus on a personal note I've found the updating gets significantly trickier past 3 fights since I still do most of the adding up in my head and holding 4 figures plus multipliers in my head takes more concentration and I start to doubt myself more and spend loads of time double checking.
Generally if I want to 5 or 6 fights I'll split it into 2 seperate threads but 4 is kinda tricky... hard to justify an extra thread but also a bit of a pain in the ass.
ah yeah, I'd overlooked that aspect of it - and that's an important consideration
a) I spent all afternoon getting the campervan ready for a few days away tomorrow and forgot about the thread and it's getting closer to fight night than id prefer
and
b) the general consensus seems to be a great big 'meh' on both fights
I reckon we just leave it for this week and come back in with a real **** on the 18th with Artur vs Joe
