He should be active, especially at his age, because he needs to keep himself busy; nevertheless, he still a threat in the middleweight division. Hopefully, we'll see him vs. Andrade after Murata.
GGG hasn't been as active as he should have been.

GGG has ventured into the Luis Ortiz career plan. Occasionally fight an underwhelming opponent, wait for a big payday fight to materialize, when it doesn't then rinse and repeat.
Murata was supposed to be his Charles Martin moment until the fight got scrubbed.Comment

I agree, he has most definitely been too inactive. I’m s gonna hurt his reflexes and timing bad. I’m quite surprised DAZN has let him go this long, but I guess if he doesn’t fight he doesn’t get paidComment

I get the feeling after the second Canelo fight, he lost his love for boxing. Seems like he's lost his love for boxing and solely doing it for the paycheck at this pointComment

He's obviously past his best but I think he'll fare better at 168 than he did at 160. Cutting down to MW at his age most likely hampered his performances from the past several years, as he hasn't looked good at the weigh ins until Szeremeta. Whether or not he wants to retire against Canelo, hard to say, but I can't blame him for wanting to give one last shot. Everyone thinks it's about the payday but I'm sure most people in his shoes would want to settle the score on a rivalry they've felt cheated out of. He's going to have to go for broke though as I'm sure he knows he's not getting a decision if the fight is close. And if he does somehow win, that's the perfect moment to go out on top.Comment

Yeah, he hasn't. And it'll hurt him in his fight with Canelo. Canelo has been extremely active. GGG will be a few steps behind in most exchanges when they fight imo. Inactivity ruins sharpness dramatically, even worse with older fightersComment
