GGG hasn't been as active as he should have been.

Canelo is keeping boxing alive by competing against the best.
He's obviously past his best but I think he'll fare better at 168 than he did at 160. Cutting down to MW at his age most likely hampered his performances from the past several years, as he hasn't looked good at the weigh ins until Szeremeta. Whether or not he wants to retire against Canelo, hard to say, but I can't blame him for wanting to give one last shot. Everyone thinks it's about the payday but I'm sure most people in his shoes would want to settle the score on a rivalry they've felt cheated out of. He's going to have to go for broke though as I'm sure he knows he's not getting a decision if the fight is close. And if he does somehow win, that's the perfect moment to go out on top.Comment

GGG won the first bout, and Canelo won the second.
I'm a big fan of Triple G, but if they fight this year in the ring, I'll give Canelo a 70:30 advantage. Canelo is in his prime right now, and Triple G is completely out of his depth, but only Triple G has a chance to beat Canelo.Comment

'I have been drinking WD-40, I don't get ring rust' David Haye.
This is nothing to do with Golovkin, but? The term inactivity, I think is misunderstood.
If a fighter is training all year round, then really they should not suffer from inactivity. Now they may suffer from other things, but not as a result of being inactive.
Fighters ultimately learn more, do most of their progression outside of the ring. On fight night, they ether win or loose 'And gain a bit of experience'.
Wladimir Kiltschko went through 3 back to back training camps, before facing Anthony Joshua 'I would not class that as inactive'.
