It's now official, Vergil Ortiz Jr. (18-0, 18 KOs), of Grand Prairie, Texas will make his return to Los Angeles, when he faces off against the #3 WBO ranked, undefeated welterweight Michael "The Problem" McKinson (21-0, 2 KOs) of Portsmouth, Great Britain. The 12-round fight for the WBO International Welterweight title will take place at University of Southern California's Galen Center in Downtown Los Angeles, on Saturday, March 19 and will stream live, worldwide, exclusively on DAZN.

Terrible fight ..as bad as Andrade and schmanelos next opponents, smh. Ortiz is not an elite pugilist, a better version of 'Tony Plasterrito..stamina and output plodders..he will get outboxed 10/10 times by an athletic boxer..but he is fun to watch and there are better opponents with better styles that I rather see Ortiz against..this is a terrible fight.

McKinson dont have enough pop to cause problems for Virgil. It'll be alot like Benn vs Algeri where McKinson does ok for a few rounds and then the stoppage comes.

A mismatch but I think this fight will sell better. Golden boy usually has low prices in L.a whereas pbc cards are expensive even for trash fights.
