I guess the old “unique events” PPV model will happen much more frequently than first claimed by DAZN/ Hearn.
The American takeover/global domination will not be televised…..

It would of been good to have had boxing, UFC, Premiership and champions league all under one roof for the customer, if that was the plan.

Why do people say huge blow to Hearn? Very little is changing with him....Hearn isn't actually running DAZN or even a huge part of their operations lol. He just is in charge of the boxing aspect of DAZN.

A bigger blow is DAZN not picking up right to some of the futbol leagues, right?

See what British fans don't understand is that if DAZN bought BT Sports you would have had the top two promotional outfits in the UK under the same network, who could FORCE them to work together and deliver cross promotional fights regularly.

But forget that let's all laugh at Eddie hearn, that's better isn't it.

Boxing just can't help itself can it.

We can still hope though, if Fury vs Whyte loses enough money then discovery might decide they aren't interested in boxing.
Most posters on here seem to be highly invested in Hearn more then boxing itself.

I kind of like the rivalry between Hearn and Warren anyway ,Warren needs better shows though . I think it’s not even close who the top promoter is .

I don’t understand why anyone would laugh at Eddie for this? He isn’t the one bankrolling the attempted buyout. The DAZN fans who were premature in assertions online deserve to be mocked. But I haven’t seen many of those on here tbh, more YouTube, Reddit.

But on the topic of “hope this fight loses enough money” I think you should maybe View eddies interview with Michelle Joy Phelps. It will answer your money woes theory:

If we listen to Eddie and if we presume he’s right, Frank “Already has a deal with Fury for X amount of money.”

“So what they’ve bid, isn’t what they pay, Dillian just gets 20%, fury gets his agreed amount and that’s it”

So you whyte lovers have had ya own theories ripped to shreds by ya main man Eddie.

I guess it won’t hurt Frank & Bob so much financially, as you guys implied it would, lmao.

Top Rank has UFC , DAZN had Bellator but let that go so not sure MMA is on their agenda .

It won't be long until DAZN sacks Eddie Hearn off.

I know but I have to get a dig in at Hearn somewhere, don't I?

Seriously though, DAZN is bleeding money, the entire thing could get canned.

I'm trying to figure out why this is such a blow to Eddie Hearn.

Was he hoping to become DAZN's Director of Football if they acquired the Premiership rights?
