Why would the waitress steal his debit card. Sounds like he was acting like a drunk irrational fool.

Crazy how there are an unlimited supply of "boxer arrested for crime" articles and "boxer got covid" articles that generate clicks and controversy, but that the outcomes so often seem to work out conveniently for the sport? How come Mayweather Pacquiao and it's 5 mil PPV buys didn't get canceled because Floyd got sent to jail for 15 years meaning he was never able to fight Pacquiao or Mcgregor even once, and the industry lost out on a billion dollars as a result? Stuff like that never seems to happen. How come Tank vs Rolly got canceled when it had less interest just in time to allow Tank vs a Mexican fighter, which IMO was an attempt to copy his most successful PPV (vs Santa Cruz), only for him to get cleared just in time to remake the fight this year after the extra controversy and exposure from his arrest where the matchup may now be more successful than it would have been before?

It reminds me of how some people say a lot of the reported covid positives from boxers are just happening in matchups where tickets weren't selling in the first place. However, that would be one thing. I guess the idea there is that a boxer can simply lie about it. I don't know how they could fake positive tests, but maybe the argument is that that there is a way, or maybe the argument is that they don't even need to, that all they need to do is say that they have it. I'm not sure. But either way, when it comes to all these crime reports, how would you fake an arrest warrant? Or get the police to go along with something like that?

In other words, these crime stories in Boxing may sometimes have the same "reality TV" feel and patterns to them as a lot of other stories in Boxing do, but if they are in fact fake "reality TV," then it would raise the question, how do they get people in the justice system to play along with what would essentially be fake arrests?

I'm not saying they're fake arrests, but curious your opinions on how something like that would work, hypothetically? Because this is like the 10,000th article I've read about a boxer getting arrested or accused of some crime, and maybe less than 1% have gotten convicted, and less than 0.1% have gotten long term jail time (which if they are innocent then I am grateful for that at least. I do not wish that on people and trust only God to judge people to lives like that), and less than 0.1% have had their careers or the finances of the sport overall significantly affected by it. In other words, somehow there seems to be, simultaneously, a huge crime problem in boxing, but also so little of a crime problem that crime never gets in the way of the business, and in fact it seems to constantly pop up at the most convenient times for the business, just like the covid positives do.

Very strange times we live in. Real reminder to start getting educated, and trust no information just because, always learn about the sources of the information along with the information itself.

I take your point but at this point even making jokes about it is just keeping these divisive conversations alive. People need to take the next step. Yes the conversation was ****** and hateful. Yes white and black people were pitted against each other. Yes both sides were fed their own versions of ****** arguments and misleading statistics which resulted in them fighting. But this **** has been in every comment section for like 10 years straight now. It's so f#@$ing old. As human beings, black and white, we all need to move forward, and use this as a learning experience, and a reason to come together. Any time you complain about the fights and arguments that were happening, you are just opening up the same wound instead of letting it heal, and misleading conversations distract from the real core issues looked at accurately. All of us have been misinformed. Both black and white. We need to stop blaming each other. Most people don't have the time to fact check fifty different media channels and newspapers articles pitting black people vs white people to see through the lies, so how can you blame ordinary people on either "side"? We are all just doing the best we can with the information available to us, and unfortunately that information is misleading and pitting us against each other from opposite directions.

No one is an enemy on the basis of skin color. All of us are only here because of the same God who gave all of us the gift of life. Judge people on who they are, who they are trying to become, what they've done and aspire to do, not based on who was getting in arguments or who was misinformed. Come together and start informing each other better if you can, however what most will find when they cut through the noise is that we've all been misinformed, and that's the problem. People have become disoriented. So black people and white people need to come together and start becoming properly oriented, rather than argue with each other, blame each other, and create even more chaos. Imagine you're walking down the street so drunk and disorientated you can't even tell what's what anymore? But now you think this is a good time to actually go get into a fight with someone else disoriented on the street? No! What you need to do is sober up and orient yourselves, and figure out what's right, rather than confusedly fighting with whoever the media with terrible track records points you towards fighting.

Great. Now, what´s holding up the investigation on Canelo, there´s plenty of evidence on his robberies..
