If you knew Willy Pep, and your using his photo, and his ring moniker, your honoring him two fold.
Willy Pep was a real ringmaster winning 229 fights while only losing 11, with 65 KO's to boot.
If it wasn't for the plane crash that he was in, he would've added a lot more wins, and glory to his career.
He was one of the all time greats in boxing, no ifs, ands, or buts, about it.

This is 100 percent true but furys whole selling point is hype

Hes beat a shot wlad and wilder a bum that can punch but gets schooled by ortiz

They tried to say wilder was more of a force to be reckoned with than the likes of foreman going into Zaire

You see foreman actually rolled over legit fighters going into Zaire in much more dominant and devastating fashion than wilder

foreman stopped Ken Norton who just went the distance and arguably won twice against Muhammed Ali ,Foreman also demolished frazier who beat Ali to prove himself the legitimate undisputed heavyweight champion at the time

Everything is about money and building up wilder to be this ferocious entity for rolling over stiffs with no head movement and going life and death with a 60 year old ortiz

so therefore based on wilders agenda hype for money going into the fights with fury this makes fury way overrated

Fury will struggle with whyte and look fairly normal not some marvelous atg heavyweight that idiotic zero brain celled casual boxing fans think he is

Fury’s going to get knocked out by a few aggressive punchers with a jab if he took some particular fights , Whyte outright bullies him in there and posters think he’s going to avoid a solid punch the entire time shows how ****** posters are he’s going to fall hard .

            • Arum here isn’t wrong . The name of the game is boxing I think the forum switches when it wants to and makes it a knockout sport so they use Wilder as to why Whytes a mismatch, that actually doesn’t work here .

Whytes got a great active jab ,mean body punching and a great left hook and compact inside shots he doesn’t t wind up . Whyte is reckless from outside at times but hoping he comes in out of shape and doesn’t prepare properly for a major title fight just isn’t going to happen ,his haters need to see what the fight is not stating he’s an out of shape bum because this is one tough fight for both. A Whyte win is far from seeing a live U.F.O in the sky , the forum is mostly bonkers most the time it’s never a decent fight it’s always a mismatch where one guy has no chance .

I think Fury squeaks by this one and has a lot of problems where he’s dazed . Fury probably gets him late when Whyte slows down from a fast pace but should Whyte knock him down that means Furys probably going to lose because Whyte unlike Wilder will throw smarter finishing combos ,it’s a real thin line fir Fury here though .

Very true. Amazing ring genius. He was also a very nice, down to earth guy with a great sense of humor.

                  Silly stuff.
People in poor countries aspire to someday live like average people do in weathly countries. Average people in wealthy countries work, make their living, raise families, pay bills, take a few vacations each year, improve their little homes and daydream about being professional athletes. Athletes get paid to play children's games for the entertainment of average people and admire fighter athletes for doing something more rough, more brave. Combat athletes aspire to be Francis Ngannou, the champion of the UFC and possibly it's best ever if weight class protection is removed. Francis Ngannou has repeatedly stated that he is willing to toss everything he's earned fighting directly into the rubbish for just a chance to someday be Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder or Anthony Joshua. To take a longshot chance to someday be where they have been. Make real millions; make the kind of mark that they have made. A part of history, rather than just a UFC employee, here today and gone tomorrow. So I have to ask.......where are you in this pecking order, handing out all that disrespect from your phone?????
                  No offense.

You think I'm being disrespectful ??

Maybe I'm being more respectful to past greats having their name tarnished and disrespected by casuals believing hype by promoters and putting a guy like Fury up there or above Muhammed Ali and the likes

Fury has 3 names on his resume

Chisora 10 or so years ago a good domestic performance to show he was a class above b level

Then an over the hill wladimir whom let's not forget never liked being punched ..wladimir was gun shy because if he wanted to land a punch on fury he would be inside furys range as he was the bigger guy
Wladimir never had the stomach to take one to give one and that's why that fight was the biggest heavyweight stinker in history....if fury went in and blew the old man out I'd give him props but he didn't

Then he fights wilder ,a man with a good right hand and lacked in any other skill,I'd say everyone else in the division top 10 had more boxing ability than wilder

Wilder just managed to land that right hand on most of the mediocre fighters he fought and got extremely lucky against the old man ortiz

Ortiz would be the only name of any credentials on wilders resume aswell let's not forget and boy did he go life and death with him

I'm not being disrespectful they can have their props but don't p1ss down my neck and tell me it's raining and certainly don't tell me wilder was some sort of George foreman monumental win

                    Furys best wins in order

                    Wladimir (stink fest)

Wilder (tomato can bum with a good right hand who was gifted a vacated belt against fat stiverne)

Chisora 10 or so years ago a guy who is as tough as they come but falls short everytime he fights a b+ level guy

Agree especially the part where if whyte hurts fury, fury will be dealing with educated pressure and combos if whytes trying to finish him off

Wilder couldn't do an educated finish on anyone either that punch puts you down for ten or wilder is chasing and flailing his arms and the opponant survives the round
