The forgotten man. The Swede is considered too dangerous for any of the the top heavyweight.
Wallin has 2 problems: 1. He is'nt British 2. He is'nt from USA.
Was this match-up ever seriously considered? I'd never heard, if it were. Babic can brawl, I'll give him that. Hopefully soon he fights someone of some notoriety with a decent jab that can really test him. I think Wallin beats him.
Stuart, it doesn't work that way. Whyte came down with a fantasy injury a few weeks out from the fight and Hearn offered Wallin's team the Babic fight instead (and we don't know what the adjusted financial details of that offer were). That's a bait and switch. Wallin saw no point and no benefit in fighting Babic on last minute notice.
Babic is a glorified Butterbean fighting club fighters and pub tough guys. He's a carnival act. Wallin is a different level fighter. Babic just went life and death with a French punching bag sporting an 11-7-1 record but Wallin ducked him? C'mon Stuart, you know better than that.

Hearn offered Wallin the fight and he said the money wasn’t right but he’s not making any money ,it was a duck .

Wallin gets television exposure if he fought ,Babic is more popular than Wallin is it’s called seizing a moment on a huge PPV everyone was watching . I bet Wallin wished he had taken it when he saw Babic almost lose who hadn’t been training recovering from Covid that was a give me fight and Wallin bottled it . Whyte also had to present documents to the WBC for proof of his injury that narrative dies t work that he faked an injury .

Yes, documents from a doctor stating he had a soft tissue injury. The same type of injury he said he'd been dealing with since the AJ fight.
Nevermind the fact that after he bottled on the Wallin fight which was scheduled for October 30th, Whyte claims in an October 23rd interview (a week prior to when the fight was supposed to happen) that he's ready for Fury. He goes on to say in that same interview:
"So what am I gonna do? Fight Otto Wallin or fight Tyson Fury, what are you gonna do? It’s common sense. Fury has the title I’m working for. It’s for me and his team to sort out."

Some shoulder injury.
You can't duck an anonymous top 20 guy to go and fight the number 1 in the division, it's a logical fallacy, it's just not possible to do so.
Whyte faked his injury because it was the easiest way to get Wallin to go away, it's kind of like if you are slumming with some 5/10 friends with benefits chick and then along comes a 10/10 hot chick, it doesn't matter how you get rid of the 5/10, only that you do.

I don't recall saying Whyte ducked anyone, he just faked an injury to get out of a risky fight when he thought he could get something more lucrative.
My posts were in response to Stuart Chandler stating Wallin ducked Babic. I completely understand the logic behind Whyte's decision, but he opened himself up for criticism the way he went about it.

So Wallin saw his original opponent ghost him with a phantom injury two weeks prior to the fight, and then is offered a fight with a backyard tough guy for less money and because he declines it's a duck?
Camps cost money, corners cost money. The logistics cost money. I'm sure Wallin was pissed at how slimy things went down and wanted no part of those shenanigans for less money and same cost on his end. The juice wasn't worth the squeeze for him.

Wallin is another joker you guys are going to push .he’ll lose his first fight with a top guy who can punch . The only thing he exposed is Fury coming to win and making it a fight ,imagine what Whytes going to do to him and the majority of the forum takes a knockout blow .
