Was it Sokolowski that got punched out of the ring during an instalment of Prizefighter International? Fell right in Hearn's lap. Anyway, Wallin... chairman of the who needs him club. Feel sorry for the guy.

      stop nitpicking.
His best win was a year ago, and it was against a shot version of Brazeale. He needs to be more active.

What did you expect Whyte to do? Potentially give up hos ranking to Walk-in and lose the mandatory spot he finally got?

Sokolowski is who he is, a fighter with a record of 11-24-2. However, a peak behind the numbers shows he's only ever been stopped 3 times in those 24 losses and many of his wins are against undefeated British fighters, he stopped Nick Webb not too long ago.

He's one of those durable opponents who goes rounds and separates the frauds with popcorn wins from those with some skills.

None of that is to say that this is a good opponent for Wallin. He should be fighting someone better but it's not as terrible as it looks. He wasted time unsuccessfully trying to get bigger names like Whyte and Ortiz in the ring z now it's time to just stay active.

In reality as well you could probably reverse his record to W24 L11 as he has been robbed so many times, always coming in as the B-side, not a big name, or money-maker, easy to rob such a guy of victory. He beat Adelaye, Browne, Kash Ali twice, a couple of prize fighter robberies and a few more, but was robbed blind. I didn't give Adelaye 1 round. His record should read a lot better. Wallin is on a higher level where I expect quite an easy win, but as a late notice, keep busy fight, can't knock Wallin here, especially as he will have been waiting/hoping for Whyte vs Fury to fall apart as a possible rearranged fight with Whyte loomed. Nash out.

Yeah, Whyte pulls out with a shoulder injury that’s magically fine the next day. How dare he accuse Whyte of ducking?

Yes, I think we all expected Whyte to fulfill his contractual obligations.

I wonder if this means Sky will make Wallin-Fury? Hughie is all they really have at heavyweight.
