First off, I’d love to see the fight only to say I told u so. Benividas IS NOT ready for a high Caliber fighter like Canelo. That said, why hasn’t Benividas done what all boxers usually do, which is fight and BEAT Canelo’s last 6 opponents?
Benividas size WONT be an advantage not to mention he’s extremely robotic, FLAT footed AND predictable. All things Canelo has difficulty with LOL.

Unfortunately Benevidez is best known for losing his title for *******, missing weight etc. and is probably well down the list of fights that canelo and his team will be considering. Benevidez needs to do more than just calling for the fight to get it. Maybe go up to 175 and get a title, if he can. Just something more to raise his profile in a positive way.

FACT: Benavidez is better than all of them

FACT: that would be a GREAT fight

don't forget those two facts as you spit out excuses justifying why Canelo should take easier fights

Canelo is my boy, the dude is a rockstar... but he 100% should fight Benavidez, no question about it

Charlo is less than Benividas. Only real threats are higher in weight and he’s going to whip them too but I’d rather see him in there with bigger men. Let Benividas fight Charlo.

Facts are proven in the ring. The fact is that Benevidez hasn't actually beaten ANY of them so until he does it remains to be seen. It MIGHT be a great fight, that remains to be seen as well.

I'm not trying to excuse canelo doing anything. He's in a position where he does what he wants, for reasons that motivate him. I just think that to get into the position where canelo feels motivated to fight him, Benevidez needs to do more. What? I'm not sure, maybe go to 175 and actually win a title?
            Beat Andrade? Just something!

you are 100% making excuses, because...

FACT: Benavidez DID win a title... at 168, the division that Canelo is currently representing

these are also unnecessary, pointless, excuses... " hasn't actually beaten ANY of them "... " It MIGHT be a great fight "

everyone knows that I am a big Canelo fan... I just keep it 100% real, ALWAYS

Benavidez can barely make 168 now. He'll have stamina issues against Canelo. This will be another fight where Canelo comes on in the later rounds against a wavering opponent who shot their load in the first 8 rounds and has nothing left.

like the experts are saying, and like I have been saying for TWO years... only Benavidez has the right set of style/skills/intangibles to trouble Canelo at 168... and most likely at 175 as well

you know they gonna say Beterbiev was old, when Canelo is too sharp/skilled/well-rounded for him

you know they gonna say Bivol was unproven/brittle, when Canelo stops him

you know they gonna say Smith was too basic, when Canelo totally schools him

Benavidez is not old, or brittle, or basic... the kid also has the right style attitude/temperament/corner, to give Canelo problems

                      FACT: Canelo is a 168lb'er

FACT: Benavidez is the best opponent at 168... he only lost his title on the scale, and would have been HIGHLY favored to beat Plant/Smith/Saunders

FACT: making excuses to diminish that fight is... 1) frankly, astonishing... guys on this site should be MUCH better than that... 2) mystifying, wtf?... that fight clearly has brutal war written all over it... 3) totally inexcusable, from a pure fans perspective

                      wtf ???
