Clenelo isn’t getting passed Charlo and it sure as hell not going to be a upset.

With Benavidez, you know for sure? That he is a fighter, who does not care who Alvarez is and genuinely wants to sparks him out.

I am dubious of the Makabu vs Alvarez match up, and I don't see this same kind of passion and malicious intent within Makabu 'And I have a issue with that'.
How does Canelo have the greater fitness? It's only him I've seen fight in spots and try to steal rounds. With Benavidez you get someone who puts combinations together for the full 12, I don't think Canelo can match his output, and he's not a big puncher than Benavidez. Team Canelo know there are far easier pay days out there, and that's what they'll continue to go after.

Canelo Alvarez endurance is not super great I do admit that, but? Benavidez just strikes me as a fighter, who can be hit or miss with his condition. Similar to James Toney.

Alvarez is a one paced fighter, but he seems to be able to keep that pace for 12 rounds. Not many fighters have been good enough, to force him through the gears. They all allow him to fight at his own pace.

Benavidez does not have Joe Calzaghe - Carl Froch type endurance, but it is that type of ballistic intensity which a fighter needs to destabilize Alvarez. If you are not going to out skill Alvarez, you need to put him under pressure and destabilize him

Maybe Benavidez can fight this kind of fight for awhile, but for 12 rounds? I have no idea.

I would rather see Alvarez vs Benavidez or some other Middle-Weight next.

Toney knowing he could outskill his opponents made him lazy with his conditioning. With Benavidez, I think it was a case of too much too early. Seems like he's got the right mental approach now from recent interviews. One thing that sets him apart is that he's not just a volume puncher, but a great body puncher as well, which I could see preventing Canelo rumbling forward as he generally does.

Benanvidez best bet is to jump up to 175 and try to make a big splash up there. A Canelo fight will come if Benavidez snatches a 175 belt and keeps winning.

Besides obviously Canelo vs Benavidez, I would also love to see Beterbiev vs Benavidez.

That's not canelos fault. They had the titles and he beat them. Thanks.

It would be a good contest. Pity that Benavidez is not undefeated vs the scales and the illicit drugs or we would likely have already had the fight.

What do you mean 'strikes you'? Have you not watched his fights? Go and watch the Ellis fight when he threw an 18 punch combo in the 11th round. He is a cardio machine, unlike Canelo who is known to fade in the later rounds like he did vs GGG twice. There is nowhere to hide vs him, and if Canelo cannot hurt him, he would be in serious trouble..
