Nowdays, Aj somehow gives me the same vibes as Micheal Grant or maybe a Lance Whitaker. Big powerful giants with no killer instinct and ready to fold up. He doesnt impress me at all. I dont want to see AJ vs Fury.

It’s obvious two things happened here 1. Whyte was not stepping aside for any money. 2. There were not enough reassurance that AJ would be guaranteed a shot at Fury. There are two gambles Hearn is making. Whyte can beat Fury and AJ can beat Usyk, you wouldn’t bet on either of those outcomes if you were keen on keeping your money.

If Joshua does not take the step aside money the Fury fight is dead. Nothing for Fury to gain by beating Joshua coming off 2 losses. Joshua swerves Usyk, beats Whyte or somebody of a similar level, looks great, gets hyped again, new team, etc, and suddenly him vs Fury is huge. He ain't beating Usyk, and he certainly ain't beating Fury, but he's losing a massive event and payday by not taking the step aside, as Usyk beats him again. Usyk won arguably all 12 rounds in the first fight, 9 clear, 3 swing, so 120-108-117-111, and anywhere in between, all fair, 115-113 was laughable. Nash out.

Usyk and Fury are great boxers but they're clearly both beatable and came very close to losing several times before.

A Joshua/Whyte double is the most unlikely combination of the lot. But it's not out of the question.

I would have been disappointed if either stepped aside. It sounds like they're both going to take the toughest challenge, the riskier route, and the sporting option rather than cash a big cheque.

I wonder if this forum could find a way to respect them for that?

Personally, I don't understand it, Joshua rather take another boxing lesson from Usyk, then step aside. Fury would have at least been a different style, sure he'd still get whooped but at least would have made significant money for simply waiting, he'd beat Whyte again and would have at least competed for the undisputed championship in a huge fight against Fury. He could take that L and be set for life in the process. Instead he rather get embarrassed again and delay the process of Fury becoming the undisputed HW champ. Way to go you dumb robot!
