Beteviev has seen better days. If he really wants to challenge himself, Bivol should be the one that will shut up all critics. Then again, canelo should settle on his best weight, and stop fighting the over the hill, past their prime boxers. Just fight the best. He's at the top, everytime he fights a fielding/Yildrim kind of fighter. He's downgrading himself. Be safe

I fighter of Canelo's caliber shouldn't be fighting the Yildrims of the world. Some how Yildrim was the Mando and he had to clear that And Fielding had a belt that he wanted to collect.
Right now I don't see any fighter that would be a 50/50 fight for him or that he is not the heavy favorite. I would like to see the Benavides fight because he is young, big, offensive but he gets hit too much. Don't see Charlo doing much but posing waiting for Canelo to come at him, so it can turn out to be a boring fight.

Unless Canelo goes up and fight the best at 175 I don't think there is anyone 168 and under that can beat him at this point of his career. I was one of the biggest Canelo critics out there and I now recognize how he has advanced as a fighter and his skills are undeniable.

Canelo lost to Mayweather, and got a controversial draw in the 1st GGG fight, but at least he did fight both Mayweather and GGG! Salute to him for that! I think the best fights for Canelo are Charlo in May and Benavidez in September! Both are young and undefeated, one from Houston and one from Phoenix, so Canelo could fight them in their hometown and still be the crowd favorite! To insinuate that Plant threw the fight makes Nacho look like a hater!

Morrell might be the goods but he is unproven. I haven't seen either Benavides or Charlo do anything spectacular, intriguing fights yes but Canelo would be the favorite. The only real challenge is Berteviev because of his size and power.

He is also right in his assessment of ginger being a dull fighter - compare the entertaining, fan friendly fight GGG had with Jacobs to the sleep inducing 36 minutes Canelo had with him. I will also add he is very correct in saying Plant took a dive - watch it again. The first knockdown may have been legit with the lead left hook but the second was absolute turd... Canelo barely touched him and Plant went down like he got hit by a sniper. Beterbiev would 1000% end the myth of Canelo - both he and Reynoso know this lool.

Canelo haters are so desperate to discredit him they've turned into full blown conspiracy theorists. Next they're going to accuse him of being behind the JFK assassination ha. BUT, he has never been in a fight, where he has been tested and came out victorious. the closest fight to this was against GGG and even in that fight, i was not amaze at what canelo was able to do, and then in his fight against floyd where he was tested, he loss..
