Should be a really good fight. Beterbiev is a monster, but Joe Smith ain't no joke either. He's gotten noticeably better since his loss to Bivol. And their styles will make for a good fight. Has Joe ever hit the canvas? I know he fought through a fractured jaw against Barrera, but I'm pretty sure that at least since the Fonfara fight he hasn't hit the deck. I never saw any of his fights prior to that one.Square circle

i am ready for this division to unify up. The biggest money fights Beterbiev, Bivol, and Smith are sure to get are against each other. Father time is catching up with all them. Playing their cards right, they could all have some great round robin wars over the next couple years, at least one of them write is legacy, and all three bag some coins for he future.

Joe Smith comes across as an honest individual, but his stating that Beterbiev turned down fighting him twice like he's scared of him just isn't believable.
Joe has proven himself in his boxing career, but so has Beterbiev and everybody he fights gets knocked the f**k out, so what's Joe trying to sell here.
Personally I think that Beterbiev knocks out Joe in an entertainingly brutal fight between the both of them blood, bumps, and knockdowns galore to boot.
Joe don't come off like a jerk, or a desperate fighter just for the sake of trying to make a big money unification fight because making yourself look bad.
The fans want to see fights between you Beterbiev, Bivol, and Canelo if he's willing to take the risk against the best in the 175 pound weight division.
As a matter of fact lets make it a round robin of fights between all 4 of them just to see who is the biggest, and baddest of them all.Last edited by Boricua181; 01-25-2022, 05:20 AM.
