Honestly depression is bad but so many people deal with it. I promise you with Ryan it's the attention he gets that will make it so much worse. For him the best thing to do is just live a simple, clean life with minimal distractions and amusements and just buckle down to his training regimen. Don't bother with shrinks that whole thing is a dead letter. Go to church, pray, live a simple life, that's enough. Don't indulge on worthless fads like "modern psychology" which has solved exactly zero problems.
