As for a possible matchup with Crawford or Spence, he certainly passes the eye test, and though I disagree with the other Breadman on a very few things, Edwards really, really knows his stuff, and his detailed descriptions of Ennis' game make me think he's a very, very live dog - if he's got even half of Crawford's composure and strength of character he's favourite in my book, because I'm not sure there's been a prospect with this much raw athleticism in as many different fields at 147 since SRL.
Who's freezing him out? Stanionis, Avanesyan, Benn, & Ortiz all have mentioned Ennis specifically stating they wouldn't mind a bout vs him to showcase their worthiness of a title shot. Boots is busy trying to call out the champions who aren't even thinking about him because he's NOT a big money fight, NOT a title holder, & NOT a legend to help their legacy. He's literally just a talented kid trying to come up in the ranks. He's not going to get offers from Spence/Crawford/Ugas.......for what.....they have nothing to gain by fighting him. It takes a ignorant individual to suggest that they fear him. You don't accomplish **** in this sport with fear in your heart, let alone get to the level those guys have made it to in this sport.

Lets seeeeee....Ennis can offer a bottle rocket, 3 baseball cards and some gummy bears. The gummys went through the wash but his trainer said they're still good.

Hmmmmm....\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ I gotta go with NOPE on that one.

Boots is going the IBF route because he is the mandatory..... TF are you talking about. Abdukakhorav lost and Porter retired. They were the #1 & #2 in that ranking in front of Ennis. The WBO has him ranked 4th behind Ortiz, McKinson, & Garcia.....and when Taylor moves up, he'll become the mandatory.

Y'all try too hard with these conspiracies.

I can't take this post seriously. Crawford's chin is in question, why?.......Never been knocked out and zero knockdowns scored against him. The Gamboa punch was clean & Kavaliauskas the same, but neither of them kept Crawford from doing what he needed to do. As a matter of fact, both of those fighters were dropped repeatedly and eventually stopped because of their "clean punch".... How is that evidence of a shaky chin? Meanwhile, people like you claim that Porter was a "dog" yet he has had to pick himself up off the canvas 4 times along with 2 knockdowns that were called slips from Ugas.........Y'all respect him and give him compliments like he has "heart" but question Crawford's chin......

They bark about wanting Crawf but they really poodles when it comes down to it! Porter the only one with balls to face Bud. Everyone else comes with crazy monetary demands, excuses about which side of the street or interviews where they say theyll fight Bud but turn the other way. Aint no conspiracies, those are facts. Period.

Crawford was a 130 lb fighter moving up to 135. You act like he was a larger fighter who came down and got hit by Gamboa.....who lets not forget at the time Gamboa was a top 10 p4p fighter who also had a 70% knockout ratio. You was far from a slouch. Crawford's chin shouldn't be questioned one bit.

Huh? Spence beating Ugas makes him a 3x world title holder and one belt from being undisputed. Crawford beating Ennis, doesn't change his current status one bit. He just beat a guy that many will claim was "over hyped" since he lost to Crawford.....not titles, not big payday....nothing......

Don't give Porter so much credit. Remember he only faced Crawford because it was mandated. If you follow Porter's podcast and twitter, he was shocked that the WBO did that because he was trying to get rematches vs Thurman, Ugas, or Spence....he was Crawford's mandatory for a year and never reached out to the WBO to express interest in a title shot which is why they moved him down and put Ortiz in his place.
