AJ beat wlad better than Fury..and keep in mind this was a version of wlad who had nothing to lose and no other side issues in his personal life, he performed at his best level and aj nearly took his head off.
Usyk beat that guy, he beat joshua with ease. He's also dealt with Joe Joyce in the wsb's with ease...
I don't see how fury is considered better than usyk. Fury's beaten wlad and wilder, Usyk's beaten aj and joyce..
and you cannot deny joyce would absolutely r*pe wilder in the ring.
I'm on aj's side in this fight, but i'm a fan of usyk's too, he's just too damn good and humble.

The jury is still out on Joshua whether you like it or not
You are literally making my point. Ken Norton was a great boxer and boxing savants appreciate him. To compare Norton to Buster Douglas or AJ is an insult and it proves you truly don’t know jack about boxing.
PAC was just an 18 year old kid when first lost and then 19. His 3rd was to the great Eric Morales. The fact that you don’t know this, once again proves your complete boxing ignorance.
You are desperately trying to recreate an already deflated aura of greatness in AJ by denigrating ATG boxers.
AJ is merely a could have been great and beating Usyk will not change that.

So what Pac lost when he was a kid? If Joshua lost his first you would be saying the same things about him you are saying now.
I'm not trying to recreate anything. Joshua lost to his Ken Norton in Andy Ruiz once then he avenged that L. Then he lost to a great fighter in Usyk and is now rematching him. Let's see how he does before we declare him damaged goods. He's not Wilder who got beaten and destroyed 3 times by the same fighter, so far he's 1/1 in avenging his Ls. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because of that.
If internet was around in the 70's you'd be calling Ali what you are calling Joshua now after he lost to Norton. You're a fickle fan and DKSAB.

Usyk doesn't like being pushed backwards as has been demonstrated numerous times if you've seen more Usyk fights than just the AJ one, he likes to counter from center ring when both fighters are posturing for position at mid range, a game AJ fell into all night long, he's not so good at countering when you crash the pocket behind a tight guard and open up when you are right in his face, which is what AJ's gameplan needs to be. Especially since usyks feet have slowed down and he now mostly relies on feints and upper body movement at mid range.
Theres weaknesses to Usyk's style but he's good at masking them and AJ didn't figure them out last time, will he this time, yet to be seen.Last edited by Earl-Hickey; 01-22-2022, 01:38 AM.
