If he gets it done i'll be hugely impressed, but based on what we saw the first time its gonna be a tall order. Usyk was too durable, too skilled, too quick, too mobile and with too good of a gas tank, and he showed that he could hurt Joshua enough to potentially stop him too.

You guys brag about the LAMEST things with AJ. Bragging about a fighter taking on the most immediate rematches, lol

Yes, I think the same way.

Joshua was sold to the casual market, very carefully promoted all the way to what amounted to being gifted a belt by Martin.

Hearn made a fortune out of him until Ruiz exposed his weak chin and mind.

His confidence is shattered, and was likely fragile even before Ruiz, Usyk dominated him psychologically.

He should retire, he has made a huge amount of money out of being basically a big, athletic guy who does whatever his promotion team tell him.

Even Wilder would crack his jaw.

You are right because he hooked up with Manny Stewart and the Kronk gym to change his fighting style. Wladimir had gone from a basic boxer/puncher to just your typical grab and jab fighter who was too afraid of engaging his opponents for fear of getting hit and punching himself out. However, I do give him credit though. That boring variation of the Kronk gym style is what helped to preserve and prolong his career and built his legacy.

whyte and parker were 40 yr olds?
pulev and povetkin were mandatories and it's easy highlighting their age, when povetkin went on to beat Hughie Fury and almost beat Hunter, oh yeh and ko'd whyte too. so now whyte is a bum too. yeh good argument.
For the record, tyson fury has rated povetkin and pulev. he would beat them too, but beating them is certainly a credit on the resume.

pulev and povetkin beat hughie better than parker did. pulev beat chisora....going by triangle theories they are proven top level and not far from the elite level.
pulev was 38 btw. povetkin was also 38 when aj beat him, same age wlad was when fury beat him. difference being wlad had a newborn baby at home and a partner who checked into a post-partum depression clinic 1 month before his fight against fury. So to me it just means wlad wasnt himself when fury beat him. That was a relatively unknown quantity version of fury aswell. how does fury fare against credible opponents who do their homework and are game for a fight?
wilder is just not proven outside of the fury fights so it's hard to really guarge fury's level just yet. im dead serious btw and there is no hate in this comment either.
fury did batter chisora, but we all know chisora back then was pissing around and was beaten better by david haye already.

you're overhyping fury and just dissing aj and whyte. the reality is there's not a lot between them. fury would get beat too if he wasnt taking long breaks to deal with his estrogenic condition after nandrolone use.
    at least aj effing fights.

fury couldnt even fight kabayel in december 2020 because his body was in recovery from a fight 10 months prior.

No it won't. Whyte already ran scared from title fight in 2019 with aj.

    you're off your trolley.
maybe the lack of amateur experience, maybe the focus on bodybuilding, maybe just the money and new lifestyle has made him less, but you cannot take away what he's done.

usyk once lost to porter as an amateur...he started early and gained experience, aswell as turned pro late. like loma, the guy has a high boxing iq. aj 'tried to outbox' that guy, probably just to test his own limits as a 'boxer'.
the only argument now is that 'if aj tries to knock out usyk, he'll gas out and get stopped' which is possible. However based on the first fight, aj def could have let his hands go a few the times when he had usyk hurt, he could have stepped it up. he chose not to and the rest is just opinion or excuses.

im certain aj knows not to trade against usyk because usyk will do a ruiz on him, has faster hands and even better footwork
BUT, usyk isnt as heavy as Ruiz.
aj's biggest issue is he doesnt know what to do in those type of exchanges against shorter/faster more skilled HWs. if he was against Fury or wilder, he would let his hands go, they couldnt outpace him in an exchange. only ruiz, usyk and maybe joseph parker could right now.
