Fury vs Usyk could be on?

Eddie Hearn had confirmed Anthony Joshua could step aside and allow Oleksandr Uysk to fight Tyson Fury.

Joshua has been negotiating his rematch with Usyk and had been expected to announce an April date at either Wembley or the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

And Fury is due to face Dillian Whyte in a mandatory defence of his heavyweight belt with purse bids due on Friday.

But Fury's promoter Bob Arum has claimed talks are ongoing over an undisputed fight between Fury and Usyk in the Middle East.

And Hearn has confirmed Joshua could be paid to step aside.

"It's true," Hearn told Boxing Social when asked about Arum's recent comments. "We're right in the midst of those negotiations as well.
Joshua had been expected to face Usyk for a second time but could now allow the world champion to fight Fury for all four belts

Good news, i hope it happens!!

Appears as usual that Eddie Hearns is making the Rematchroom casuals believe he has everything under control, and that the two losers AJ and Shyte run the Heavyweight division... but it is little slips of the tongue like this that make it clear he isn't in control at all.

AJ should do what Wilder should have done.
Take a big step aside fee to allow the undisputed fight to happen in Saudi Arabia.
But only with a stipulation that he fights the winner before any Fury/Usyk rematch would happen.

AJ should fight Wilder on the same card. Now that's a ****ing PPV.

I know I'll catch some shet for this.
But aside from the whole " unifying the HW titles " aspect.
I'm not too interested in this fight.
I might be wrong. But IMO Fury and Usyks styles together will most likely give us a boring fight.

The undisputed fight we really wanted was AJ vs Fury in 2021. it didnt happen. As soon as team fury started derping around with excuses i knew something would spring up.
bob and frank played the game...and played eddie.
personally i think eddie is just trolling them. as if eddie would want bob and frank to get the big saudi money fight for all the marbles whilst he and his main guy sit on the side.
he'll only accept that if he's forced to accept it ie aj deliberately backs out knowing he just isnt ready for an usyk rematch, or he just loses to usyk..and that also means whyte must fight fury.

personally i always believe these promoters know more than they let on. all of this, just like fury-aj last yr was probably more about gaining media exposure with non stop story telling. the alternative would have been worse, just staying quiet and waiting for the fights to materialise.

It's the two best men in the division fighting each other, you can't really ask for more imo.

Fury vs Wilder III was a slugfest and yet guys on here claimed that it was just two unskilled bums knocking lumps out of each other.
