They artificially try and pump up the Cleno market share by associating him with people WAY above his league. Then the Cleno brand is marketed as too big for all of these smaller purse fighters and then the narrative will be that the Clenman can choose instead of smoothing out the folds on his current resume and facing the G that still haunts him every day.
