I am dubious of the match up, and I always have been since it was announced. I hope Makabu does not stand off, and act all confused as if 'He is facing a fighter who is 5 steps ahead of him' which is not really the case. Alvarez is a great fighter, but he has in his career been out boxed and can be out pointed in rounds.

In the opening rounds of the fight, Makabu must test Alvarez with his cruiser weight strength and power 'Shake him up, make a statement'.

I have no idea how the fight is going to go at this stage.

It just seems to me, that the realness, most raw competition in boxing is in the heavyweight division.

You have guys who are obsessed with facing and beating each other. You have match ups which contain passion and brutality.

Even Joshua is getting angry of late, they are all at it.

The only good match ups I see of late, are UK domestic fights.

A great match up coming up is Chris Eubank Junior vs Liam Williams 'These are fights where, you get the sense that the fighters are primly their for the glory and competition' The business is secondary.

woudlnt they pretend to fight someone good if its a media ploy?or atl east someone people knew and heard of? no one even knows who this is so saying you are going to fight them is met with shrugs and blank stares
