Let's even say that's true. He was knocked out brutally in that fight and is now worth much less now than he was then.

Tyson made $28,000,000 for his second fight with Wilder and $30,000,000 for his third fight with Wilder. No matter how you slice it, it is reasonable to modify the split from 70/30 to 80/20 because of Tyson's huge commercial appeal.

Some dumb kunt on here says whyte wants to cash out? Wtf does that mean? An 80/20 rip off means fury is cashing out and not only that, has recently indicated that he will retire. Omfg retire with only a handful of fights? One defence so far and a bunch of bums to look good against!
fack the WBC and uncle booooooob! 50/50 is equal physical risk. All the self promotion rubbish that entertain they should charge people separately and that way, we can all choose whether we wanna hear all the rap or not.
furthermore, real boxing fans will either watch it or not so I would suggest to boooooooob and the diddycoy, go fight one of them YouTube people instead.
let genuine boxers and fans alike enjoy the sport of gentlemen and have even playing field all the way.
the likes of frank fackin warren and ole bobbyboy have ruined this game.
          50/50 split, fairs fair.

Yes but theres a thin line if you lowball someone its usually seen as trying to duck a fighter. But Whyte has been promoted by getting a fury fight so should get pay rise. 70-30 seems unfair also even but i guess whyte would be happy with that.

Bob loses this fight to DAZN. But I reckon the fight lands in the middle east.

Boxers now a days remind me of young pretty women. They have a delusional opinion of themselves and are unaware that their worth is fleeting, quite quickly.

Bob desperately doesn't want this to go to purses...

80/20 is a hell of a split, most promotors would be very confident of winning the purse at that split... Unless their guy is cooperating.

This is exactly it. Fury took the 20-80 split against Klitschko and won. If Whyte was confident he should do the same and flip the odds in the rematch.
