In other words a brilliant guy. and believe me..NO racist. ALL the racism around Arum is AGAINST him.

P.S. I want to add, that when I said earlier that the only intelligent posters were Jonny420 and Ghost of Dempsey, I had read less than half the total posts. I had become fed up with all the crap. But since reading on, I see that quite a few other posters have their heads on right, and are NOT racists or ignorant in any way.

    To them I apologise strongly.

It sounds like the real meat and bones of the case is the breach of contract. I think Arum will be on fairly strong ground in this regard given the one year in which Crawford didn't get his contractually-stipulated two fights was when the pandemic was raging and all boxing was on pause. Not unreasonable to think that Top Rank might still owe him a fight though.

Where Arum might not be on such solid ground is the more nebulous area of 'fraudulent and negligent misrepesentation.' Arum talking about how much money he has lost promoting Crawford could easily be seen as bashing his rep and hence negligently misrepresenting him. At the same time, if Arum can produce facts and figures to indeed prove what he is said was factually true, that he was indeed taking a pasting from promoting Crawford, maybe not.

Maybe old Arum is just out of touch, he has admitted he doesn't know how to market to the "urban" crowd, but Arum can't force a dull personality like Crawford to act all brash and flashy. Crawford should've know that signing with TR would make it difficult, if not impossible, to get the top WWs in his resume. If his personality was lacking, he needed top wins. Lawsuit is trash, Crawford is as much to blame for his failure in becoming a big draw.

The article says that the 3 months with no boxing due to the pandemic are excluded from Crawford's lawsuit.

Arum nororiously doesn't like to open up his books to public view so I wouldn't expect him to produce facts and figures for a court.

A victory over Pacquiao would have been a top win and gone a long way towards making Terence Crawford more of a draw.

But Arum is on record saying he protected Manny from Crawford.

That's another thing that can be used against the old buzzard in court.

As I read article and details of lawsuit, It sounds like Crawford or his lawyers
took a few pages out of Canelo's lawsuit against Oscar De La Hoya in regards
to the expectation of being active with at least 2 fights per year.

The word always way, Crawford hated doing press. TR had a very tough time getting him to do interviews, get on radio, TV, etc. He bailed out, refused to do fight week interviews, etc.
