I think Malls best bet is to basically fight entirely different than his style normally is.

He would have to reinvent himself as a giant version of some Chino Maidana to Floyd type sh, hitting Canelo with a barrage of punches he can't adjust to the volume of,but the problem with that is I don't see Mall having stamina to do that as he fights like a mw Ugas kindve,

he potshots w jabs, which will get him lit up,so the most winnable fight would be for him to use movement & frustrate Canelo early, then try to maul him in later rds & pray for a decision.

I think he's gotta fire the heavy jab and he has to put that jab out there fairly often to establish his preferred distance the fight will be fought at. Needs to use limited but smart movement/angles and fire off hooks to body and head in a limited amount.

I don't think he wins but I think he can make it a fairly it an intense and compelling tactical fight.

At 160 it wouldve been competitive imo. Now not so much. Charlo has regressed for the most part. That what happens when you choose not to take on the who's who of the division. And he would have to move up? Nah, Saul washes him.

Charlo has to outbox Canelo and keep the fight on the outside. I guarantee you Floyd is advising and coming up with a gameplan for Charlo on how to beat Canelo as we speak.

Canelo negated Smith's jab reach as well as Kovalev's. Its interesting that Charlo fans swear by his jab. It wont be anything like Spence taming Mikey with his jab/reach because Mikey is not Canelo. Canelo will want Charlo to commit with his jab and return something.

When Charlo feels Canelo's weight and Power at 168 he's going to dissappoint many many fans.

Their jabs are nothing like Charlo's jabs. It's more like GGG's jab but it comes at you much faster and harder, Canelo wont have as much time to react since Charlo's hands arent slow like GGGs.

As more proof of how much better Charlo's jab is than GGG, just look at how good Charlo's jab was at keeping Dinvonchenko off of him compared to GGG. Even GGG did have a lot of success catching Canelo coming in with the jab in the rematch, but Derven beat the **** out of him. Sergey was getting pieced up by Charlo and couldn't land clean.

Golovkin has the better jab. It's not as fast because he's older now but it's not just about speed. Prime for prime Golovkin's jab was one of the best in the last 10-15 years. Charlo has a great jab himself and has 3 and half in reach advantage on GGG but I shutter to think what Golovkin would be doing to opponents if he was Charlo's age.

In his dreams he does, then he wakes up and realizes he won't win.

Still, that's his chance. He ain't koing canelo hitting him on the chin, if he doesn't take the legs, he's not winning this fight. He doesn't have sand Still. He can punch and grab. Make it dirty and complicated.
