Stephen Espinoza said basically Canelo's mainstream Mexican fan base thought he had retired because he wasn't fighting on network television in the U.S. I just checked Canelo's #s on YouTube & 2 of the 5 highest viewed videos were Canelo's fights on Dazn (which include his FULL FIGHT vs Jacobs!)"It elevated his events back to where they belong."
That is what Stephen said in the article & what he really meant."It was obviously important for Showtime."Comment

You’re arguing just to argue because you like dayzin. And no, Canelo was already the biggest star in boxing before dayzin, and fighting in front of an actual American audience puts him back where he belongs. Of course he could always go back to the obscure app to make British nationalists and other assorted populists happy.Last edited by Oldskoolg; 01-10-2022, 10:55 AM.Comment

If he's arguing just to argue, then you're praising just to praise. Canelo became a star on HBO, no amount of **** sucking Showtime or DAZN changes it, and it's ******ed to argue what network Canelo should fight on. It objectively does not matter as Canelo will draw a crowd regardless of what it is on. Also, you talk like you have a broomstick shoved up your @$$.

Are you surprised? I mean really, are
Haha, this is not about accuracy, otherwise I’d be asking if Espinoza is or has been literally ‘jerking off to Canelo’, not that I’m that keen on the MF.
Also, I’m hardly bothered by the accuracy of PBC being ‘black owned’. My main concern is why one would bring it up at all.
You might think I’m being unduly antagonistic, but you managed to mention Top Rank and DAZN in the same post without stating that either are ‘white owned’. Unless I have it wrong and neither orgs are owned by white individuals..
you genuinely surprised?Comment

when you get as rich as Canelo, and all of these platforms are offering him more or less the same amount of cash for a fight, I'm guessing you go to where you feel most comfortable. Or the platform that has a particular fighter you want. Visibility? Does it even matter to Canelo? Sure, it would make Showtime more visible.Comment

little wee wee racist maggot your jealous hating ass is mad because the PBC has all eyes on them. Alvared definitely needs the PBC platform. your ***** ass saw what happened to him at DAZNstrous and golden girl promotions. clenelo isn't dumb like your sorry ass. Charlo vs Alvared may 7thConsidering there are no draws in the Showtime/PBC roster, of course that sniveling little rat Espinoza is jerking himself off to Canelo right now.
Canelo doesn't need them though, he doesn't need to be involved with black owned PBC who has never given a fair shake to their Latino fighters. Canelo is a better fit with DAZN or he should try out Top Rank ESPN. He'd get great exposure on ESPN.
