Comments Thread For: Malik Scott On Deontay Wilder's Future: It's A Blessing To Be In His Position

Trainer Malik Scott believes Deontay Wilder is in an enviable position as the latter contemplates retiring from boxing. Wilder, the former WBC titleholder from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, recently hinted that his third match against Tyson Fury this past summer may have been the last time he enters a boxing ring. Fury won by 11th round TKO in a thriller.

Yeah. Come back and get punched in the head some more, at age 36, and risk your health. Even though you're set financially, and don't need to....because some idiot named Marchegiano thinks you should.

Hasn't been a poor person in like a decade so that was already true.

The whole time his ass was bouncing around "one face, one name" his ass was set, so take yer protective bull****, turn it sideways, shove it up your candy ass, you'll probably like it.

Fact is the only thing that's changed since his ass was hoping around talking about undisputed is he's hit some struggle. Boo-hoo. Mother ****er was not talking retirement, he was talking about killing fools. Now he's been humbled walking away doesn't just make him a ***** sure

            So says you, pussy.

Tbf, it’s pointless fighting on when these noises are circulating. If your head’s turned even slightly towards the exit door, you can’t be surprised when you lose even 2-3% of your intensity. That can be dangerous in this division.

If he doesn`t come back he will be remembered as someone that got knocked out badly twice by the only good fighter has has ever fought.

His wins over Ortiz don`t age well, because Ortiz hasn`t done shi.t in his career.

It is a blessing to be able to retire at his age and take care for your family especially with a daughter with special needs, which I'm sure is pretty penny here in the states, so good for him.

Wilder is a freak, he takes punchers chance to another level, there is barely a fight on his record where he was actually the better Boxer but he's only ever lost to the number 1 heavy in the game. Yeah he hasn't exactly faced a who's who of the top 10 and his resume is a little sheltered but still.

If he sticks around he will be highly ranked and if he retires he retires a rich man. He seems a bit of a moron but I read that he has been wise with his money.
