Sorry to say this, but AJ sounds more and more like mental wreckage.
    He could be done?

Idk I wanna say that he would go into survival mode and try to finish the bout on his terms. Maybe with Fury toying with him to a certain degree in the final moments knowing he won wide on the cards.

A man hell bent on surviving is actually pretty hard to KO.

Pretty sure there has been plenty of AJ díck riders who've been saying he should be more of a boxer and they've been saying it for the longest it was his excuse for not getting rid of Parker "my strategy was to stick behind the jab, the right hand will get you round the block a good jab will take you round the world".

He's effectively been trying to change himself since Wlad put him on his ass and Ruiz has made him a gun shy shell of himself, shame really because when Whyte wobbled him early in his career his instinct was to fire back...

Aj didnt beat Wlad, old father time did, he was 41 remember.
Aj was done in was it the 5th or 6th & gassed for another couple of rounds but Wlad was to old, to tired & to shot to finish the job.

Whoa whoa whoa, so wait a minute, this man’s saying that he lost to Usyk because of mind games… from some guy he wasn’t even fighting?!

No disrespect to anyone, but when it’s summed up like that I find it quite funny.

In any case, Joshua will find out that this man was no-one to play around with. I’m sure he’ll try and go back to basics for the rematch, which he should for the remainder of his career, but it won’t be enough for an opponent who’s seen it all during the course of about 100 fights.

To be blunt, any version of Joshua is too basic to win this match.

Big George was a big wooden fighter in his day but he didn't get all princess about it like Aj. George just tried to take your head off.

After you get knocked out by a short obese fighter, then "avenge" the loss by avoiding close contact with an ever worse version of that short obese fighter, there's not much left to keep feeling confidence in your means.

This is it 100. In fairness, I was one who saw major flaws in his game against Wlad and thought he should tidy it up.

What no-one predicted is that he wouldn’t have the ability to implement the changes needed to become a decent boxer. He’s effectively a polished brawler, nothing more.

People should resign themselves to the fact that, if you haven’t boxed extensively from from your youth, there’s a ceiling to your ability. Fury and Usyk sitting atop a HW division full of former basketball and college football players should be proof enough of this.
