Well said! Make him the direct mandatory, and do the same for Jaron "Boots" Ennis!
Boots hasn't fought anyone or done anything to become a mandatory. He isn't even in any title eliminator.

IBF itself is a mockery and so is Hrgovic's ranking.

What else can you say if they had Charles Martin at #2 and Hrgovic at #3 ranked higher than Joshua, Wilder, Whyte, Parker, Ortiz, Ruiz, etc.? Nobody takes the IBF seriously and people aren't exactly rushing to be crowned its champion.

I don't know how he got where he is, but I know that he was supposed to be in final eliminators twice, and no one wants to fight him, so make him the direct mandatory!

Boots has done more work @ 147, than Hrgovic has done @ HW! IBF should make a final eliminator with Boots and Cody Crowley, since Crowley beat Abdukakhorov! Boots is IBF #3, but #1 Abdukakhorov lost, and #2 Porter lost! If no one accepts the fight with Boots, then make him the direct mandatory!

Yes, refusing an eliminator should have a consequence for ranking. However there's no getting away from the financial aspects of the situation. Thanks.

I definitely understand why people are swerving Hrgovic and Boots, "High-Risk, Low-Reward!" However, if you don't accept the fight, then move down in the rankings, next man up!

My problem is with fighters like Munguia! You don't want to fight Adames? Cool, now Adames is #1, and you're now #3, or whatever. Why is Andrade ordered to fight WBO #2 Alimkhanuly, not #1 Munguia? Why was Crawford ordered to fight WBO #2 Porter, and not WBO #1 Ortiz? These ABCs are all out of order!

Naturally, this will impact upon his own man’s ranking which begs the question: who ISN’T in contention solely because their promoter lobbies a boxing organisation?

I don’t see a lot of meritocracy in many areas of societal life, but boxing takes the p***. Deeply unfair competition
Yeah man, rating are for sale and have been a long time now. Both King and Arum got wrapped up in ratings scandals in the past, FBI cases and ****. In my opinion that's about all we lack right now. Promoters clearly have better connections with some bodies over others, no rating board makes sense, and every division's got multiple belts specifically so bodies can bend rules around individual cash cows. It's pretty blatant corruption.
