I do not how to feel about this. I mean, there is no real reason to doubt Smith but I see no reason for Beterbiev to avoid Smith either. It is a profitable, in house, high stakes fight. Let's see what happens after Smith fights. So long as Canelo moves past Beterbiev (he will, there are better match ups for him), there really is not a ton of reason for this fight not to happen. Both these guys are getting to the age they need to make money and secure legacy with a sense of urgency.Comment

But Beterbiev's promoter just said that Bivol is boring. It's all fine and dandy to say he fears no one, but at the end of the day if the fans aren't getting fights they want then what's the difference?ALL due respect but Artur doesn't even know who Joe is at all...he doesn't watch boxing...and if you know Artur you'd know that he LITERALLY fears no one. I mean, NO ONE. If Joe walked up to him on the street he wouldn't have a clue who it was.
I understand wanting the fight but this isn't the way to get it. Beterbiev doesn't care at all who you are, who you beat. He just wants to face whoever the best is according to the people and that's Bivol and if he moves up, Canelo.

Why would I want to see Canelo in a rigged PED tested fight with morning and before fight hydration clause put on Beterbiev, only to wake up and hear Canelo is the biggest fraud of this generation when I can get real fights between Bivol, Smith, Beterbiev and a real 175 contender for REAL undisputed 175 champ?
Some of the most prolific spark punchers in boxing history move up and big fighters can take their power but a 5'7 flat-footed PED hype job has more power vs bigger men but can't stop Chavez Jr and Angulo point-blank in his face but I'll pretend that didn't happen.

You must be new to boxing. People are correct. You funny son. Now please put me in my place and you tell me when Canelo should of challenger Floyd. And how old was Canelo when he started to “age Floyd mayweather out”
if it was when he was 18
floyd would of been 36
if it was 16 Floyd would of been 34
so when was Saul supposed to of fought Floyd?
no insults here. But you’ll disappear. Go And research this sport whilst you are away!Comment

I’m trying to show the kid what he said is laughable. And if you think Canelo aged out Floyd you are just as ******. Tbh I won’t be surprised if it’s same buddy on his second account. Considering how much you’ve taken an interest in today but not yesterday.
EDIT: He was 23 you are correct. So if Floyd was 36. That’s a 13 year disparity. So if Saul was 18 Floyd would of been 31. They were not even on each other’s radars. So my original point stands. The claim or assertion that Canelo was aging Floyd out is just damn right Outrageous.Last edited by RoadMan94; 01-07-2022, 06:48 AM.Comment
