Why would Beterbiev not fight Smith? It's too easy a fight for him probably, although another title. But Bivol and Canelo would be the bigger fights he would love.

Two tough fighters, it has to happen soon for age reasons on one side and activity reasons on the other. Still as was said Joe Jr. has got some business next weekend and I do not think he is looking past anything bc if he does that is real trouble. Some guys got to ansere the question but Smith last fight was not an easy one I know delay delay had its effects but now there should be some improvement and focus for his next three fights if we are looking forward. I would like to see the LH start to pick up and get something moving it is a division that is moving slow for all the fighters in it at the moment.

Not surprised, this has been a pattern with guys staying to long with that Montreal area promotion group. Not trying to blame them but, something's up. Either they 're not liked, got frozen out or never managed to get away from the historically darker side of the business. It's hard to believe that they would be that bad after so many decades and after reviving boxing in their region before the split etc. This guy could have taken anyone at one point but now, i feel he's prone to injury like Gassiev. On top of that his timing isn't as good like with any fighter that is not very active..sparring isn't the same thing unless in an old school gym war. Hand/eye coordination and the brain need to stay finely tuned or you get Lopez vs Kambosos etc.. That split second or half inch can turn an easy fight into a harsh wake up call.... Ugas vs Manny
