He used to be an aggressive fighter tho. He needs to get back into the mindset that he had when he fought Whyte.

Interesting. Never heard a fighter who is planning to go in there and only win 7 rounds, wtf? I agree Usyk is a master boxer, no way is he going to bank enough rounds against him a technical boxing match. He needs to have the win by KO mentality. Problem is, Usyk was actually the one that was hurting him multiple times so in essence, I just don’t see a path to victory for AJ.

A very logical approach and really his only viable option. Sure he's got to be thinking it would be great to catch Usyk with a bomb, then take him out but that didn't work out last time. He won those rounds but finished the fight running on fumes.

I agree. He needs to also rough up usyk and get a lil dirty. Hold and lean on him, hold and hit. Usyk was way too comfortable in there. AJ doesnt have that killer in him imo

The guy is an idiot. This is what Joshua looked like after a few rounds with Usyk.

Anthony Joshua has stated that he is making changes for the rematch, he is not going to fight the same fight. I have no idea, why almost everyone on this thread seems to think Joshua is gong to fight the same kind of fight twice.

Where does Anthony Joshua say 'I am going to try and out box Usyk in the rematch?'.

He does not say anything of the sort.

I am certain Joshua is going to fight a different kind of fight, and prepare differently.

But I will say this? I don't like this obsessiveness of intricacy, when he is talking about dietary and motivational speeches.

I think he is obsessing about the wrong things 'I think he is fine in those area's'. But for sure, he is consciously aware that his entire approach to the sport has not been playing to his strengths of late.

I wonder when this fight is going to be made, I would expect it to be announced this month.

I heard the interview, he's barking up the wrong street if he thinks he can outbox Usyk. The other major problem is his stamina.

Joshua CAN outbox Usyk. Joshua, on a full tank, can win any rounds he chooses to win. I think his point is that he needs to do just enough in 7 rounds to win those rounds and do it efficiently enough that he’s not dead on his feet going into the championship rounds.

I don’t see another way and maybe he doesn’t either.
