I think I left out Diamond champion. Didn't some org have such a belt at one time, or still does?

Cruiserweight was always 190 pounds and was only moved to 200 because heavyweights had gotten so large, but that made the jump to cruiserweight too big. It should return to 190.

Meanwhile, the WBC champion is an incredibly skilled and agile 277 pound behemoth. If cruiserweight is going back to its original 190 limit, there absolutely should be a bridge between cruiserweight and heavyweight. 210 pound fighters shouldn't be forced to fight a 277 pound champion. Some of the lower divisions are only 3 pounds apart. There's no reason to complain about smaller heavyweights having a division where they can fight guys their own size.

Usyk unified at cruiserweight and just won 3 heavyweight belts by beating big Anthony Joshua.

          Bridgerweight is completely unnecessary.

Usyk didn't win the WBC belt, which is the hardest one to win. The WBC heavyweight champion has never lost a unification fight in the entirety of boxing history.

Further, those under 224 who want to compete at heavyweight are still allowed. Adding bridgerweight doesn't mean there won't be some smaller heavyweights that can become champion. Adding bridgerweight gives people the option to fight guys their own size, just like everyone else gets to in their divisions.

If the entirety of boxing history means anything to you then bridgerweight is an unwelcome disruption of it.
