Refusing to give credit cause your countryman lost is not a viable excuse. I'm not a countryman of Calderon but have been in boxing for a very long time. Donaire if he keeps his hands healthy would be one of the premiers boxers today. When he faces adversity or a hurt hand he will move (which is the smart thing to do, adjust and win the fight). That means that also Whitaker was a runner cause he moved away from punches? Lets face it Mayol was physically bigger than Calderon in every way, this is boxing not a barnyard fight.

Calderon is a feather fisted fighter so it's understandable that he should not do the Gatti way.

I watch the fight just a minutes ago. The fight is close but I give it to Calderon for effectiveness. Mayol is very aggressive but lacks accuracy. The only round I saw Mayol land a clean shot is round 4 and 2. I score the fight by landing percentage not just the punch.

Is that hard to accept that a fighter with a great height-reach disadvantage, with no power, just pure boxing skills just beat everyone they put in front of him?

it doesnt matter if Mayol is missing.. he landed more punches than CaldeRUN.. it doesnt need a compubox to know it.

CaldeRUN throws 4 puches per round..1-2 will land... Mayol throws a lot of punches about 50 per round and will land more than CaldeRUN.


A CLEAR indiction too inside the arena the Ricans are so quite through out the fight.. coz they knew their boy lost..
