I think that was different situation. Donaire had a broken hand in the early rounds and Concepcion didn't make weight.

I thought Calderon won the fight over Mayol by the way. But it could have been a different story if the fight wasn't stopped.

good point about the hand, the fact that concepcion did not make weight is irrevelant to the styles displayed in the fight.

IMO donaire had to fight that way even if he had not broken his hand because the power concepcion brought to the fight. A couple of times he was stunned if not hurt by his power. I have no problem with fighters like that. Pauly fought like that and loss when many here thought he won. I think doaire won and I also think calderon won. the guys are not running they are boxing.
