I'm failing to see the parallels between the two. All that was said is that tweet was Kambo vs Ryan would be a great fight, don't remember them mentioning an offer or anythingof that nature? Oscar would be an idiot if isn't pursuing that fight either but that's not the topic at hand

As far as an "offer" vs "contract to sign",yea I agree, there's a possibility that an official contract has yet to be sent. From what was said by Oscar and Eric though I'm inclined to believe there's some authenticity there and hope it comes to fruition.

Oscar De La Hoya Provides an Update on What’s Next for Isaac Cruz and Ryan Garcia – Makes a Massive Blunder in the Process

2022 is here, and boxing lovers are eagerly waiting to see the biggest stars take the ring this year. Among all the young guns, Ryan Garcia holds some substantial weight to his name and his return is in contention for a while. For now, Isaac Cruz stands tall as his anticipated opponent. Both Cruz and Garcia engaged in a back and forth, challenging each other for a fight. Since then, there’s massive news surrounding a fight between these two for early 2022.

Recently, ‘King Ry’s promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, took it to Twitter to provide an update on Cruz and Garcia’s potent outing. He wrote, “@ isaacpitbullcruz98, congratulations on your fight with Tank Davis. Goldenboy and @Kingryan we are ready to make you a great offer. Tell him to tell us your promoter,” (All quotes translated from Spanish to English via Google Translate)

De La Hoya, in his above tweet, seemed candid about making the Garcia vs Cruz fight. However, he made a slight blunder in the process as he tagged the wrong Twitter handle of Isaaz Cruz, Ryan Garcia, and his own promotions.

Regardless of that, the focus of everyone was on the building up of Garcia and Cruz’s bout. ‘King Ry’ fought in January last year and since then, he’s eagerly looking for a noteworthy opponent, who could advance his chances for a title fight...

LMAO!!! Why tell Cruz to tell his promoter to call them? Why not call his promoter before you go on Twitter? Sean Gibbons MP Promotions! Shouldn't be that hard to find?

The parallel is that its tweets. Tweets don't mean anything. And Oscar saying about 'sending an offer' means no more than saying 'Ryan vs Kambosos next'. Their both tweets. He could gave been drunk at the time. Garcia saying 'me against Kambosos my first fight back' and saying 'sign the contract' are both also done via social media. Therefore no substance. The fact that his Cruz tweet makes a mockery of his,Kambosos 'first fight back' tweet, only leaves us wondering what the next tweet will be, that will make a mockery of his 'sign the contract' tweet.

20 years from now I guess we will have idiots throwing virtual jabs and punches at each other and whomever sends the most online in 45 minutes will win.

Ah gotcha ya...I'm basing validity on an offer,or a potential one,on was said by Oscar(cokehead I know)and Eric stated in the article, only. The cats out the bag now so time will tell if there's truth to an offer/contract or not.

If a shot to pieces fighter like Vargas goes 12 with him,it's safe to say he isn't that big of a puncher. Triangles theories aside,Vargas got obliterated twice by Berchelt....
Don't compare fights. Pitbull trained extra hard for Tank. U didnt see him in training upside down with all his body weight on his neck? Pitbull showed that the way u train, is the way u will fight. He was strong, aggressive, game, and fearless, just like a real pitbull.

Yeah time will tell. And listen pal, I actually like this fight and hope it happens. I'm not a fan of either but I believe that to be a pretty relevant fight in the division and a good solid match up. So lets wait and see.

So now Ryan is claiming that "Cruz is taking too long" when the contract ALLEGEDLY has only been sent a few days ago? This is looking like a publicity stunt. How is the man who took a fight on short noticed "taking too long to sign"?

Lets recap Ryan Garcia's 2021....... fought a WBC eliminator and then gave up his mandatory position, claimed to be in negotiations with Tank and then pulled out of that for a made up fantasy Pacman fight, ducked Linares, pulled out of a Fortuna fight, then schedule another WBC eliminator with Jojo Diaz and pulls out of the fight too...........

At this point anything that comes out of Ryan's mouth or social media is not credible until he is inside the ring.

Ryan hasn’t done anything to impress me, and he doesn’t pass the eyeball test for me either. There is a humbling loss in his not too distant future.
