It wasn't an off night for Tank. Way b4 Tank hurt his hand when he was fresh, he was still missing a lot, and backing up most of the way, something u just don't see from Tank. To me, this makes it clear that Pitbull hits hard. Something was making Tank back up, and it wasn't the pressure. if it was just pressure, but no power, Tank would have just walked through Pitbull. Tank had respect for whatever he felt of that power, to the point of backing up all night

I don't see it that way. You don't have to be a power puncher to apply effective pressure. Cruz small but stout/strong stature,chin and workrate allows him to do that more so than his power. If a shot to pieces fighter like Vargas goes 12 with him,it's safe to say he isn't that big of a puncher. Triangles theories aside,Vargas got obliterated twice by Berchelt....

GBP had Ryan lined up for a WBC fight vs. Haney! He wins the eliminator, and calls out Tank instead! That was not on Oscar, that's on Ryan. Then we find out he was talking to Al Haymon in the dressing room b4 the fight! That's not on Oscar, that's on Ryan! Then he switches from Tank to Pacquiao! that's not on Oscar, that's on Ryan! It's obvious Oscar did not want the fight because of the comments he made, and then Ryan PUBLICLY disses Oscar because of said remarks! That's not on Oscar, that's on Ryan! Then he's lined up for another eliminator with Fortuna. He pulls out of that fight for "mental health issues!" Again, that's on Ryan, not Oscar! Then he's lined up for a fight with Jo Jo...you get the picture? Now he's calling for Issac "Pitbull" Cruz! Not Oscar, but again Ryan! I'm sure Oscar would've rather had Jo Jo or Linares, or somebody Oscar had chosen, NOT Ryan!

So the point I'm making is Ryan should STFU, and let his team do the talking. Don't say "sign the contract," on December 31st, when there is no contract yet! Each time he says "I'm fighting X next," but ends up fighting Y, he makes himself look dumber, and dumber! He's quickly becoming a joke! You know it's bad when even Canelo is losing faith! In fact you are protecting him more than Canelo is! That's on you, not Ryan!

I'm not "protecting" anyone lol. The kids a little twat but I can't deny his boxing ability. He legitimately bailed on one figh for whatever mental issuse he had and that was Fortuna. This whole debate was putting to rest that he "didn't want that Cruz work" that's it,nothing more nothing less. Did Oscar and Eric state in the article that he wants to fight Cruz and they worked up an offer?? Until Cruz team deny or refute any offer was made,I will assume it's legit just like you want to believe Ellerbe had send one to Ryan. Yes I'm aware of that and Ryans track record but this is coming from Oscar/Eric so hopefully there's some truth to it. Whether it was yesterday,today or tomorrow I'm confident and convinced GB does send one if they haven't already. No way to save face if not....them and myself lol.

Well saying Kambosos vs Ryan would be a great fight and nothing more is a far cry from saying they working on an offer to Cruz right? Of course Oscar is going to mention that fight for Ryans,it's his job as a promoter to do so.

So if you can see that on the Kambosos issue, can you not see that saying your going to send an offer is a far cry from a contract actually being there in front of Cruz for him to sign? I hope to see this fight. But the wide scepticism on here is justifiable under the circumstances.

Surely, you gest? With Ryan's history, wouldn't you want guaranteed money if he suddenly pulled out the fight...AGAIN? Remember, Linares pulled out from an eliminator with Michel "Ali" Rivera, so Rivera needs a dance partner! That would be an excellent fight for Pitbull too, but nowhere near as big as fighting KingRy! However, letting that go for KingRy, and he bails, then what?

Oscar's comments were on social media, which doesn't amount to anything. Eric has been quoted from an interview, so his comments are legit. However he says he doesn't think Ryan should be taking that fight, and mentions having discussions on future opponents. None of which sounds like there's actually a contract been sent.

Ryan Garcia is a part of what's wrong with boxing today. He's on social media but not in the ring. He's online calling out this one, while avoiding this and that one. That's what the new generation does. They battle on the internet more than in the ring and they blatantly avoid certain other fighters. And when they don't wanna fight someone, they have a lot of ways to get out of it. In Ryan's case, he said he had a nervous breakdown and mental illness and needed a break to get help. Some say they have covid, others retire then come back when its safe. Some hide on the "other side of the street". Some cry A side, B side bs. Some say sign the contract knowing damned well that there is no contract, or they price themselves out, some hop weight divisions to avoid certain fights. All this bs has to stop.
