He rejected it because it wasn’t financially viable, it still isn’t.

They rejected it because he wanted the Chisora rematch. That's done now. There's not that many big money options out there for Parker. And Parker has been more vocal recently about wanting to win a world title again. Hearn would not mention if there was no intention. It would only look bad.

You should always take eliminators unless you are lining up a title fight for one of the other belts. Call it like it is. Don’t be a shill. That’s why the smart fans on this board reject the irritating paid fanboys on here. Ortiz may well have financial business reasons for passing here. That doesn’t change that turning down eliminators is BS. It was BS when PED Whyte passed on eliminators and cried he was being screwed. Hunter vs Povetkin was for a semi final elimination bout which ended in a draw . After that Martin was offered the final elimination bout against Hunter but declined . Hrgovic was ranked next and accepted it and that was for the final elimination bout .

Hunter declined that and here we are again ? Waiting for that final elimination bout .
